Hinata dragged her feet towards the direction of school. Just why did she have to go?! Isn't homeschooling an option?

Hinata sighed. The sky was filled with grey clouds and the air was cool. Little to no passers by were present.

She wants to go home.

And sleep in her nice, soft and comfy bed.

Sleep for eternity maybe....

The thoughts seemingly plague her mind more often. She hated it. She hated that she had to face her friends.

.-.

Walking into class, she was immediately bombarded with questions from left to right.

"Why didn't you come to school?"

"What happened?"

"Are you alright?"

"It's fine." She answered them all.

"Have you checked yourself in the mirror of lately?" Ino looked at her making an I - know -something's - wrong- look.

"You don't look okay Hinata." This time it was Sakura. She grabbed her hands and looked up to meet her face.

Hinata didn't look like herself at all.
She hag bags under her eyes. Her nose was red, and her body was on fire. Her skin turned sickly pale.

All in all, she looked dead. Hollow eyes looked up at Sakura. The pinkette watched silently. If she was sad, it didn't show.

Hinata gently pulled her hands away from her friend and looked the other direction.

"I-I'm...f-fine..." She stuttered out slowly and soft.

They looked unsure, but before anything else was said, the bell rang. Signalling the end and everyone went to their designated seats.

Kurenai-sensei came in smiling brightly and mouthing a "Good Morning class."

And as the lesson went in to more detail, everyone paid keen attention (almost, save for the few delinquents).

Cough!

Cough! And then a sniffle.

All eyes turned to Hinata.
"Are you alright Miss?" The teacher asked, worried for her student.

"I-I'm fine...j-jus-st a l-little c-cold.." Hinata smiled.

She hated it, when people worried about her. It only made things worse. Everyone's always worrying about her, protecting her from "danger."

She sick of it.

Sick of it all.

.-.

Hinata walked through the cafeteria, a gloomy aura surrounding her.

The memories of last week being on a constant replay in her mind.

What she shouted to him. What he said to her. When he walked away; when she ran.

She did not look where she was going. To eventually bump into a hard surface. She looked up to see none other, than Uchiha Sasuke himself.

He raised an eyebrow at her.
