Stupid fucking Naruto.

Hinata woke up in a bad mood today. Her eyes were angrily fixated on the ground as she rushed through the school hallway. Her uniform had not a single crinkle, and her shoes were polished; it was just her face that looked quite...unpleasant.

Just who the hell does he think he is?!

Her angry footsteps and wild lilac eyes made head turns as she grumpily walked down the hallway, shoving hurriedly past the bustling nobodies, who dared not utter a word with one look at her stony expression. Passing by students as they muttered, she sent them a scornful glare with her seemingly pupil-less eyes.

"History."

"I hate History." She frowned. It was one of her weakest subjects. The amount of reading, date memorizing, and layers of notes made it rather boring for her. She'd rather study the present, worry about the future, than research past problems. It wasn't her problem. It was also that the teacher was just a complete douchebag. A man who was just as unforgiving as they came, especially when it came to assignments and quizzes.

She sighed. She wasn't in the mood to put up with anyone's bullshit. She had enough on her plate already. Her footsteps came to a brisk stop at the entrance to the class. She cracked her neck, held her head high, and walked in. The first things she noticed were the lingering students and the lack of a teacher.

Wordlessly, she walked to the back of the class and sat on the far end. Twirling her pen, she stared off into space. Hinata's mind wandered until she thought of a blonde with cerulean eyes and a-

NO!

She slapped her cheeks.

Not anymore.

Never again.

She heard whispering and murmurs to which she silenced with a glare.

Resting her right cheek in the palm of her hand, she looked away and proceeded to glare at the wall. A deep scowl on her face.

Idiots.

They all are.

"Hey, what did the wall ever do to you?" She didn't need to turn around to know who that was.

"Tenten, go away. I'm not in the mood." Hinata growled, swatting the playful hands that made their way to her.

Ignoring her comment, the brunette proceeded to sit on her desk and sway her feet in a sort of rhythmic way. Her inquisitive gaze was offset by a warm smile. Hinata huffed, annoyed at her friend's insistence but unwilling to stop her.

"So," Tenten began casually as ever, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong." Hinata didn't miss a single beat.

The brunette frowned minutely. Tenten felt somewhat sad over the fact that her friend was giving her the cold shoulder, but she pushed on.

"Is it...about Naruto?" She hedged.

At this, Hinata stood up and glared at her.

"This has nothing to do with that idiot!"

"So it is about Naruto!" Tenten clapped her hands and hopped off the desk, seemingly satisfied with her prying.

"Tenten, you're so dead-"

"Alright, class, settle down!"

Hinata couldn't finish her argument as the History teacher walked in.

"Tenten, go back to your seat! You too, Hinata!" He yelled at them.

"Hai Iruka Sensei..." They both murmured.

And so a long and boring history class began.

After class, Hinata bolted straight towards the door, leaving with no intention of socializing.

She decided to skip out on her friend's daily lunch and went to the roof, assuming no one would be there. It was off limits, but nobody paid attention to the rules carefully, and the staff weren't very pushy about enforcing them. As long as you weren't doing something foolish, nobody minded.

The old stairs were remnants of the old building and had been kept in poor condition. Some cracks and crevices ran up along the dirty wall. The floorboards were almost rotted, if not already, and the old door at the top was often wedged and heavy. Closing the door behind her, she turned around only to come face to face with the last person she wanted to see right now.

Oh, you've got to be shitting me.
