海洋 || Ocean.

The ocean was always calming to [Y/N], whether it was displaying its rage as mother nature or whether it was peacefully swishing and swaying along with the wind. In a way, it had always been her aid during the process of healing from her mother's death.

While she grew up near the ocean in the slums, her attachment to it increased by days, months, and years. Initially, it had been a spot where she could play with her friends and where she could bathe for the longest of times. Slowly though, it became an area where she would find food and sometimes even water--though it was salty--in order to help her ill-struck mother at the time.

Not only did it bring her comfort and nurture her, it had brought her and Sinbad together. In her eyes, the ocean was a blessing and somewhat like her mother.

And even now, as she sits here nestled up near the purple haired man, the ocean was still comforting her through the actions of washing up onto shore and kissing the pads of her dainty feet. The simple show of affection put her heart at ease so she wouldn't lose her mind at the choice of words that the man would soon choose to speak.

"What's really bothering my precious little sister?" He questioned, hand running through the strands of hair that draped over her curled up body. Her heart strained and reach for a way to escape the pain as she let the words process in her head. [Y/N] let out a grunt before closing her eyes.

"I told you to stop calling me your little sister, somebody might end up believing it one day."

"What's the problem with that," asked Sinbad with a raised eyebrow, "It's not like it'd be a bad thing."

Ouch.

"I was an only child and I kind of want to stay one." Replied the [H/C] girl grumpily, huffing as she got up and off of the King. Sinbad shot up as well, grasping her wrist tightly with an indescribable expression.

"Don't be like that, why don't you talk to me about what's going on in your head?" He once again attempted to pry it gently out of her. Sinbad's face was now replaced with an expression written as worry. The young girl stared into his golden orbs, contemplating on whether or not she should really reveal her hidden feelings.

She ripped her wrist away from his strong hold, turning back around towards the path that led to the palace without a word. The man, in awe, stood there with his mouth agape.

What on earth did I do wrong? Is she really that upset that I called her my little sister? His questions continued to float about in his head, his feet beginning to move towards the palace as well. Sinbad scratched at his chin in thought before he shook his head with confusion.

The following day, [Y/N] decided that she should watch over the training process of both the three students and their mentor. For the first week it was decided that Alibaba and Sharrkan would be her first pair to watch over.

Sharrkan, being the thoughtful man he surprisingly was, decided on moving the location of their training towards the cliff near the ocean. It was ironically close to where Morgiana was sparring with Masrur but that didn't really matter. After all, he just wanted his fellow general to feel comfortable and at ease after returning home. He knew greatly that she was fond of the salty smell of the ocean and the way the wind felt against her skin.

When [Y/N] had arrived however, it seemed that the pair had already started their sparring. She didn't mind though, her heart was heavy from last night and her thoughts were pushing her to be less excited about anything around her. Sharrkan had noticed long into his training with his student. He paused for a second and looked at Alibaba, mouthing for him to 'Stop for now,' before walking towards the silent female.

The tan man wrapped an arm around the older female, pulling her close with a rub to her back as a form of support.

"[N/N], What's wrong?" muttered Sharrkan, using her nickname was a form of endearment. The only reply he got was a shake of the head, her knees moving closer towards her chest as she curled up. Alibaba approached the two and gave a look of confusion and worry. "[Y/N]-San?"

Her head shot up towards the blonde headed man, giving a soft heart-broken smile.

"Sorry."

Alibaba's eyes widened at the expression that crossed her face, he frowned and looked down to his feet. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously before he voiced what he was thinking.

"Why don't we go down and take a walk on the shore? I'm sure it'll help you take your mind off of whatever it is you're worried about." Suggested the teen as he extended his hand towards the older woman who looked at him as if he was the nicest being. Sharrkan grinned at his student as if he was a proud mother, He learns from the best.

It had been a couple minutes since they had began their little journey down upon the shore. [Y/N]'s mood had lifted significantly the more that they went on. Sharrkan's smile grew a little more each time as well, her laugh bubbling up each time that either one of the boys had spouted nonsense.

It soon came to a halt though.

Sinbad's voice was heard along with the sound of a soft, light, feminine giggle. Up ahead had been Sinbad and an unknown female that had dark pink hair. [Y/N] adverted her gaze away from them and let out a nervous laugh, her heart sinking once again at the sight ahead of them.

To believe that she would be overlooked as a lover only to be up-ed by a child-looking girl was quiet amusing yet painful.

Sharrkan and Alibaba turned towards the now silent female who had come to a complete stop. Sharrkan raised an eyebrow before walking back towards her.

"What's the--" the white haired man immediately stopped as he saw the tears fall down his friend's face. Confusion once again began flooding the two men that stood in front of her. Her sudden actions had them worried about her and why her behavior had suddenly shifted back to what they worked so hard to change.

Sharrkan's arms immediately wrapped around her smaller frame, massaging her scalp as she soaked up the fabric that covered--or at least tried to cover--his chest.

I want the ocean to take me into it's arms and never return me.
