考え || Thoughts.

Soft sobs echoed throughout the room as the sun began to lower down into the horizon. The body that laid upon the soft silk sheets shifted about in a fit as the person sniffled softly. The cricket's chirping outside of [Y/N]'s window seemed to be intense and loud as she sat there consumed in her own thoughts.

The kiss that had happened minutes prior to her breakdown had left her shocked--a mess even. Judar, who had seemed to be someone that would never display any form of attraction or romantic interest in anyone, had made the move to swoop in for such an intimate gesture.

[Y/N], who obviously had strong feelings for her king, did not have any feelings for the fallen magi. But it seemed that she was thinking about giving the male a chance, Sinbad was never going to realize the feelings that the young maiden had for the older male. He was far too busy handling business around the world as well as with the Kou Empire's princess.

Sinbad; however, did not show any form of interest in the young pink haired female. It wasn't like the male showed any interest in one of the last metal users to join either. [Y/N] was confused as to what she was supposed to do, she felt like that she should let it be known to Judar that she was to secretly pursue her feelings with the purple haired king. Knowing Judar, he would probably open his big mouth or boast about how good looking and powerful he was. Sinbad was just as powerful and attractive though and Judar's excuses to vouch for himself would do nothing more than just be a boost to his pride.

It was either that or Judar would say that he could treat her better, make her his priority and maybe even leave the Kou Empire's side and lay his life on the line for her.

That was out of line...

She silently shook her head and wiped at her eyes roughly, eyes turning red from irritation and screaming for some rest. [Y/N] got up sluggishly and made it outside of her room, huffing and puffing before she walked out sluggishly to receive some water from one of the servants down stairs.

The cause of her fit was unknown, her mind was a blur and there wasn't a single thing that she could think of at the moment as she dragged the bottom of her shoes on the floor of the building of which she resided in. Her eyes were cast down as she walked down, shoulder bumping into a larger body. Her attention was drawn away from her thoughts and she gasped, her foot stepping back as she shot her head up to meet the person.

"I-I'm sorry!" She spat out as she met the eyes of the one and only king of Sindria. Sinbad raised an eyebrow before chuckling lowly at her flustered expression. The taller male placed his hand on top of her head and ruffled her [H/C] locks messily in a gesture of endearment towards the shorter.

[Y/N] let out a slight whimper as her eyes squeezed shut before she huffed, her heart aching as she thought back to what was on her mind in her room. There was no possible way that she could forget her feelings for Sindria's king and try to replace someone amazing as her for someone like Judar--even if Judar was great in his own way.

Sinbad left an impression on everybody around him, whether he was being professional or not. He had charm and some how always left people speechless--in shock. He always drew her in with his words, actions, and decisions.

Her eyes looked up towards him, gleaming with unknown intent and emotions. Sinbad looked at her with a wide smile as he retracted his hand. [Y/N]'s bottom lip jutted out into a pout as his hand was withdrawn from her head and she almost, just almost, let out a sound of defeat and sadness.

The king chuckled at her face, heart almost beating out of his chest as he saw her bottom lip pop out. Her eyes seemed like it was asking him for something in specific and gosh he really wanted to kiss her right now. He held himself back though and inhaled sharply before sighing and crossing his arm.

"How's the paperwork coming along, [Y/N]?" Asked Sinbad. The said female bit her lip and looked away nervously before clearing her throat in an attempt to hide her out-of-character reaction.

"I'm taking a slight break but it's coming together nicely," Replied the metal user before she rubbed at the back of her neck nervously, "I'm just going to get some water and I'll get right back to work." Sinbad nodded in acknowledgement before giving her a pat on the head.

"If you'll excuse me."

[Y/N] smiled and bowed her head slightly before continuing her way towards her destination. Once she received her cup of water, she made her way back to her room where she would continue the paper work assigned to her by the very same king that had interrupted her thoughts.

She took a breather once she reached her room again, her heart was still pounding as she thought about her slight slip up that almost happened early. There was no way in hell that she was going to let her feelings get the best of her, especially when the male was to be married to a  young girl, a beautiful one at that.

A pout made its way on her lips again, her eyes watering as she thought about the man she had come to know today getting married to a girl that he barely knew anything about just for the sake of his country. She rubbed her face and let out a long sigh of distress before banging her head onto the wooden desk that contained the stacks of paper work.

Stop, this isn't healthy.

Maybe if she would've told him a while back that she had some sort of feelings for the male, none of this would have happened. She was being stubborn and now her emotions were getting the best of her. Her hand made the move to pick up the quill again, her eyes skimming over the words on the scroll that laid in from of her. She stopped in her tracks before she signed and stamped the paper, huffing again as she placed the stuff back down.

Maybe I should tell him how I feel.
