The long summer days came to an end, autumn passed by in a blur and it was now winter once again. The feelings that had been sitting deep in the heart of which belonged to [Y/N] continued to sit there, never seeming to escape her mouth.

Sinbad continued to be somewhat oblivious to her feelings. His feelings remained the same as [Y/N]'s, comfortably sitting in his gut compared to the female.

The winter came with more places to patrol, more missions to go on, and more people to deal with. It seemed as though no one was going to be getting a break anytime soon. This was a regular occurrence though and all of the household vessel users under the rule of Sinbad became accustomed to it.

This was no different for poor [Y/N] who had returned just a few months ago from a long mission assigned by the King himself. She had multiple breaks, sure, but they were never really considered breaks when her mind was clouded and cluttered with busy thoughts.

In reality, she was just as busy, running around the palace with errands that originally was not assigned to her. Here she was now, out at the market to buy a couple of things required for Yamaraiha's newly thought up creations.

[Y/N] didn't mind running any errands for the blue-haired female though. The Mastinian would've done anything for any one of the household vessel users, and of course Sinbad himself.

The swordsman shook her head mentally before continuing on with her run for errands. Her gaze adverted down to the list of herbs and tools she was asked to purchase. She nodded to herself before skipping her way into the market and locating the items. [Y/N] finished up quickly and headed back up towards the humble abode belonging to the King and his followers.

She scurried up with bags hoisted up in her arms, materials clinking and clanking against each other as she pushed forward. A soft hum was heard from her lips as she distracted herself with the beautiful scenery (as much as she could at least) as she returned with haste.

Once she arrived at the entrance she gave a nod towards the guards and rushed through the doors and ran upstairs to where the other female was located. Her fist knocked on the door before entering and dropping off the supplies. Yam smiled and thanked her before continuing to concentrating, Sharrkan stood next to the seated female, staring at her tinkering hands intently.

[Y/N]'s eyes lightened up as she saw the white haired male.

Finally! Someone fun.

The Mastinian grabbed his wrist firmly and gave him a big smile. He raised his head in alarm and stared at her confusedly before she dragged him out of Yam's room.

"I'll be leaving with Sharrk!" Exclaimed the bouncy female, continuing to drag the confused swordsman along.

"Hey! Where exactly are we going," Spat out the man as he struggled to regain his balance, "You're always dragging me out and never telling me where we are going!" Continued he as he furrowed his brows. The female only chuckled to herself and stopped at an open field full of beautiful flowers.

The colors ranged from vibrant pinks to vivid indigos. The grass was healthy and a beautiful green with a perfect glossy shine. Sharrkan was caught off guard that he was taken to a spot such as this one; however, he was not complaining. The colors complimented the fellow swordsman quite well after all.

The said swordsman bounced back gently and elegantly, sliding her sword out of its sheath.

"I have time to spare at last!" She said happily, "Let us have a friendly duel!"

The man smirked to himself and prepared himself for what was to come. Her smile only grew as she saw his reaction, her excitement and adrenaline ran through her as she pushed off the balls of her feet and dashed towards the male with her weapon in hand. She swung at him from below him, his body easily lifted into the air in response. He jumped back, parrying the attack and creating a loud clanking noise.

[Y/N] could feel the energy flow through her as she jumped up once again and twirled her body forward, ready with another stroke. The tan general side stepped and smirked, knocking her weapon out of her hand and quickly pinned her down onto the ground.

Caught by surprised, she gasped and stared at the man. She was speechless as she continued to lay there vulnerably. Her hair laid beautiful over the grass, making Sharrkan's statement from earlier all the more factual. She was indeed beautiful—a goddess made for a very fitting piece of land.

Her chest rose and fell along with her attempts at evening out her breaths. The male couldn't help but stare, hovering over her body as she continued to stare at him with awe.

The moment was ruined; however, by the sound of clapping coming from far away. Their heads shot around for the source of commotion.

"Seems you found a little play toy, [Y/N]." The said female furrowed her eyebrows as she got back up onto her feet. She grabbed at her sword and pointed it towards the man.

"Why have you returned to Sindria?" Asked the female, voice unnerved and strong. The man cocked his head with a sly smile and he walked closer, hands outreached as he let out a boisterous laugh.

"Well I came to see my dear [Y/N] after all. I've come to take you back and court you back at Mastinia." Replies then long haired man.

The two generals scoffed at his response.

"Iksun, no matter how hard you try I will never return." She replied as she took a step forward with her blade still pointed towards him.

"I don't want to fight you again, my love." Replied he as he darted back and landed without a thud. She growled and jolted forward with her weapon in hand like before, ready to fight to protect herself and her friends. Sharrkan's eyebrows furrowed in worry before he dashed to join in, backing up her counter-stricken attacks with his owns attacks. It proved to be useless though.

Iksun seemed to have gotten stronger, it was quite obvious with the way he now held himself and his own power. The man chuckled one more time and crossed his arms.

"We can do this the hard way or the easy way, little Mastinian baby." The female gagged at the name before lunging forward and slung her blade upwards from below, deeply cutting him from his right shoulder down to his side.

He fell down onto his knees and gripped his wound in attempt to stop the bleeding. Soft grunts escaped his lips, his other hand slowly rising with a, "come here," motion.

Sharrkan's gaze shot up and darted around the area, realizing there were more than just the three of them in the area. He grabbed her arm in attempt to run but he was far too late, the back man had already grabbed her and poisoned her once again before he couldn't realize it.

Sharrkan attempted to move towards the female.

"[Y/N]!" He shouted as he reached for her hand that was beginning to feel further. Before he could continue his pursuit he heard the voice of Iksun behind him followed by a sharp pain in his neck.

"Don't touch what you can't afford."
