We all sat in the Meeting Hall, waiting for the Italians to arrive. All the countries hung their heads low, and no one made eye contact. The room's atmosphere was very thick and uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable.
The doors open slightly and the twins came in. Both walking in, avoiding any eye contact. Romano was the only one looking up. He walked in front with his head held high, with Italy walking behind him fidgeting with his fingers.
Romano takes out a folder and places it on the table. He makes a small gesture to Italy, and Italy nods. "Alright bastards. All of-a you listen up! I will-a take over the-a world meetings until this month ends alright?!" He barks. Everybody looks back up and nods glumly. "Good. Now about-a the events last-a night. It is-a best to ignore them for-a now." Romano said.
"'Ignore'!? Bloody 'ignore'?! Let's just ignore the fact that a random stranger bursted into the Dining Hall, looking like America and just telling us some weird story!! You really are an Italian!!" England slammed his hands against the table and glared at Romano.
"Hold on, amigo." Spain got to his feet. "Didn't the man, Allen I think, say you were a part of this as well. And you two as well must know something." Spain pointed 3 accusing fingers at England, Romania, and Norway.
"Now, Now! Let's not get carried away here. What we know is none of your business! We swore an oath to never tell anybody, and what we saw is not even suppose to be known by our universe yet!!" Romania fought back. "But I see you're not denying. So what is the difference? Besides, it can't be that bad!" Hungary huffed, crossing her arms. "You don't know because you never caught a glimpse of it." Norway muttered, still audible even if he's near the end of the large table. "Caught a glimpse of what, Norge?" Denmark asks suddenly. "Look, you Danish prick! Like we said, it isn't any of your business!! None of you are capable anyways!!" England sneered.
"Oh? Iz zhis how it vill be?" France got to his feet and glared at England. "Are jou thinking jour better zhen us, you black sheep!?" France spat. "Maybe I am." England growled. "It seems like you wish for a conflict, da~?" Russia stood up as well, walking next to France. France shivered slightly in fear, but held his posture. "Hey-a everybody stop-a talking! I am-a the one-a holding this meeting!" Romano yelled. Protests were yelled at him and Romano started to throw curses. "Aiya! Everybody just calm down, aru!" China groaned, rubbing his temples.
I looked away from my teammates and looked towards the Nordics. They were also having an argument.
"Okay Norway, I need you to tell us everything." Denmark said. "Tch. Like we said, we made an oath to never-" Norway was cut off by Iceland, who grabbed his collar and yelled, "To hell with your oath!! We need to know what you're hiding Norway!!"
I quickly turned away. I don't think they would like it if they saw me watching. That's their business and I don't want to intervene in any way.
Everybody seemed distracted in some way. I'm sure it's okay if I write a bit. I keep my journal and pen with me, alright? It's not weird. I took out my pen and journal and started writing.
"June 21, 2018
I wonder what Allen meant when he said 'And the others will be watching'. There aren't more of him right? I hope not. But I am a bit thankful. He made a big, dramatic entrance. It totally caught everybody unprepared. It gives me more time to myself, you know? While everybody isn't picking on me.
I'm just a bit scared talking to myself now, though. Wow, I really am starting to sound insane. Since I found out the 'thing' was Allen, he could literally hear my thoughts. Maybe he could even see through my eyes. That's pretty freaky.
It's such a coincidence isn't it . . . I've always felt like being watched. The power of the mind is so strong, wouldn't you agree? How my messed up life is made by a single author. I wonder if that's what Allen meant by 'The creation of other universes.' Each universe is made up by one person. It makes so much sense. How we're all used for entertainment. Isn't it fun reading me suffer?
How a word can be so powerful, so powerful it creates something. The only purpose of it was to suffer. Is this what England and the other two are trying to hide from us?"
"AMERICA!!"
I was so startled I nearly threw my journal in who knows which direction?! I stopped my scribbling and writing and looked up. Germany loomed over me, a vein popping out of his head.
"WHAT DO JOU THINK JOU'RE DOING?!" Germany scolded. I was confused. Oh so very confused. "What did I do?" I asked, with a bit of attitude. "Well, jou're not listening to England, that's what!!" Germany yelled. Wait, the meeting started?
"I didn't know we started. Since everybody was just acting like fools and arguing." I stated. "Vell then, we just did. The trio will be confessing, for jour information." Germany glared. I raised my hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay, I'll listen." I muttered.
I put away my journal and pencils feeling pretty salty, and looked up at the so called 'Magic' Trio. They slowly walked towards the front of the room.
England finally cleared his throat and spoke, "You guys are probably waiting for the truth, and now you'll get it. One day the three of us started to experiment on something. We both succeeded and failed, though. You see, we wanted to solve a mystery that supposedly every wizard or witch hasn't solved yet. We decided to summon something from an old mirror. This mirror has been made during the 1600s, so it is, of course, very old. The mirror once belonged to one of my kings, then passed down to the next generations. The glass of the mirror has not been cracked, even after so many incidents within the castle walls."
England stopped talking and turned to Romania. Romania, who was playing with a ribbon, was surprised. Then his mouth made an 'O' and nodded at England.
"So, here is my part of the story. England called for a trio meeting at his place and he told us the problem. He couldn't keep the mirror anymore. He said he felt strange magic and vibes coming from it. As if somebody was there, somebody he couldn't see, somebody that only appeared whenever." Romania smirked. Everybody, including me, were having shivers down our spines. He was very good a telling these type of things, especially setting the mood.
"We came to a conclusion that I should take the mirror. I thought it was a very good idea myself. I had plenty of experience with the Dark Arts. So I took this mirror thing and brought it back to my country. I placed it in my office, since it seemed to fit with the surroundings."
