Puppy Baek. That's what everyone called him. Why? Because he looked like a cute fluffy pup.

And puppies don't like kittens..do they? No, in the story books they hated eachother. They did in real life too.

They called you a kitten, probably because you looked soft and sweet like one. But you didn't mind, it was a cute nickname.

You two didn't know eachother. Maybe saw eachother in the halls while rushing to classes, but never acknowledged another's presence.

But puppies and kittens hate eachother and didn't matter.

You've heard of "Puppy Baek" before, but assuming you've never met him. You didn't like him very much, maybe because you wanted to be the special one with an animal nickname. And because kittens hated puppies. Kitten.

Baekhyun knew all about you. Your schedule from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Your group of friends, your hobbies, favorite foods, music, even small habits like twiddling your thumbs. He hated that you got so much more attention that him. Sure, you were adorable, but weren't there more dog people than cat people? And because puppies hated kittens. Puppy.

School was coming to an end in just a couple weeks and you've never met Puppy Baek (or so you thought). It was relieving l, really. All your friends insisted you meeting him, saying things like "you guys would be perfect together." "He's really cute!"

You were curious in who he was. But not enough to looking for him when you were already busy with organizing the school news paper. Was he really that cute?

You looked through the pictures through the school's camera, looking for the best shot at the school festival. You came across a picture of a boy, with nice black hair and a puppy-like face. Was this Baekhyun?

"Why are you staring at my face."

Startled at the sound, you drop the camera, causing it to crack the screen. You look up to see the culprit of voice.

It was the boy in the picture.

"I-it's my job." You say.

"To study peoples faces?"

"No, looking through the pictures." You pick up the cracked camera, screaming internally because you have to pay for the damage.

"I'll pay for it." He says, taking the camera.

You shake your head, "I broke it anyways."

You try to grab the camera when he raises it above his head, out of your reach. You continue to try to grab the elevated camera. He starts to laugh and you pout.

"Just give it back!" your hands are in fists.

"Why should I? I'm already going to pay for it anyways."

Giving up, you puff out your cheeks and cross your arms. "What's your name?"

"You don't know who I am?"

"Nope." You say, popping the 'p'.

The boy leans in uncomfortably close to your face. "I'm Byun Baekhyun. Aka, 'Puppy Baek'."

So he was Puppy Baek!

"And I-"

"Kitten. I know." He interrupts you.

You blush, knowing that he knew you this whole time.

"And you're cute." Baekhyun smiles his adorable puppy like grin.
