She sneezes again. "Shhhh, it's okay." I comfort. "I'm cold." She whines. I Hold her tighter. "Baby, I'll have Noey bring up another blankie." I said kissing her head. Poor baby. I text Noah, but realizing she wasn't home I texted Diego instead. He came upstairs two minutes later. "Hey, Diego." I said smiling. "Can you wrap that around her? Hands are full." I ask. I had both my arm around her and didn't feel like moving. He nods and tucks the blanket around her. She lets out a cough. "Bil? You gotta go in 30 minutes" he said. "Ugh, I know." I roll my eyes. I have to help Finneas plan out our next heist. "Billie please don't leave." Y/N says kissing my chest. "Shhhh, I'll be back in three hours. Diego's gonna take care of you." I said. "Okay." She said letting out a wet cough and clearing her throat. "Let's get your temp." I say moving her slightly. "I'm gonna go to the store and grab a couple things, I'll be back in 15." Diego says getting up. "Okay. Grab Y/N some food, yea?" I said. "What do you want baby?" I asked. "McDonald's. Just get me what I always get." She says closing her eyes. "Okay." He said shutting the door.

I grab the thermometer and place it in her mouth. 20 seconds later, it beeps and I take it out of her mouth- my eyes widen. "That can't be right." I say shaking my head. "W-what?" She asks worriedly. "It read wrong, I'm gonna take it again." I say slipping it back into her mouth. Again, 20 seconds later I take it out. The same exact reading. 105.3 F. It can't be wrong, it's new and was like $100. "Oh mamas, we need to get these blankets off of you, now." I say worried. I remember I had a fever of 103 and I got taken to the ER. Fuck, I can't take
Y/N into an emergency room. I take the blankets off of her. "Billie what did it say??" She asks. "105." I say taking the blankets off. She helps me remove them. "Billie I'm cold, can I keep one?" She asks. "No, because you're getting in the bath. I'm gonna google it and see what we can do to bring your fever down, but for now just get undressed." I said kissing her forehead.

After googling it, WebMD said she should be in lukewarm water. We were in the bathroom and I was running the water. I heard a knock at my door. "You get in when it's done running, I gotta talk to Finneas." She nods. I walk to my bedroom door, shutting the bathroom door behind me. I open the door to an impatient Finneas. "Finn. Y/Ns temp is 105, I cant go with you." I say worried. "105?" He asks surprised. I nod. "Honey I need you with, just for an hour? Then we'll get right back home and call a doctor, I need your eyes." He said sympathetically. He knows I don't wanna be away from her. "Fine. I'm only doing this because I know there's no way I'm getting out of this. Let me go finish taking care of her and I'll meet you downstairs, okay?" He nods.

I return to the bathroom, Y/N sitting in the tub shivering. "Baby? Your chills are really that bad?" I ask. "Yes." She says angrily. I leaned down and kissed her on the cheek, to which she kissed me back. I gently put her hair up. "I'll be back in an hour." I whisper. "Okay." She says sadly.
I go downstairs to meet Finneas, but not before giving Diego instructions. "Go mix up that sinus rinse I left on the counter, only give her one blanket. Give her some Tylenol." I say. "Yea." He says yawning.

Diego's POV

"Diego." She whines. "Come on, just do it." I said with my hand on her back. She's doing a sinus rinse, where basically she has to shoot up salt water into her nose. "Make sure you close your throat so you don't get it in your mouth." I said rubbing her back. She did as I said and did the rinse. Afterwards, I took her down to the living room and gave her some Tylenol, along with some water. "Drink. You need fluids." I say. She leans against me grasping the big cup of water I gave her, sinking comfortably into the couch. I handed her the bag of food and she ate quietly. Billie's so lucky. I would kill to have someone like Y/N. Someone I could baby and take care of, someone I could hold in my arms and whisper to until she fell asleep. She pipes up, "Can you grab me my fuzzy socks?" She asks. "The one with Christmas trees on them? Yea." I smile and get up to grab her some socks.

Billies POV

I finally got back, to see Y/N asleep, laying her head on Diego's shoulder. I run up to her and shake her. "Come on, she needs her sleep." Finneas says. "I need to take her temp." I say as she opens her eyes. "Hey mama." She says rubbing her eyes and hugging me. I kiss her and pick her up, taking her upstairs.

Once we arrive into my bedroom I took her temperature, and was relieved to see it went down to 103F. "Good, it went down. Now let's cuddle." I say smiling. I grab her another blanket and hold her, letting her bury her head into my chest. I turn the light off. "Billie?" She asks. "Hmmm?" I ask kissing her head. "I love listening to your heartbeat." She said taking in a breath and kissing my chest. "Aww, that's so sweet baby." I smile. She craned her neck up and gave me a kiss on the lips. "Mmm, you taste good babygirl." I smile and tighten my grip on her. "I love you. I hope you don't get sick." She says. "I love you too. And I don't care if I get sick, I'll kiss and cuddle you anyways." I smile and leave a wet kiss on the corner of her mouth.
