Leila's POV:

Jerry happened to be standing there.

"What are you even doing here Jerry?" I replied, trying to shake off what he saw.

"I came to get some of your hot chocolate. Jesse is craving some so I came. But as I can see, you're too busy to even attend me." He said with a grin.

"I apologize for what you saw Jerry." Ignazio said.

"I'm just going to pretend you guys were under a mistletoe and kissed. Even though there is no mistletoes here, but I did say I was going to pretend." Jerry said and I noticed Ignazio blush.

"Please don't tell this to anyone. Specially my mom. She would freak out." I said to Jerry. He nodded and handed me two portable coffee mugs. I quickly took them and pour some of my hot chocolate in them.

"Marshmallows?" I asked.

"Only in one. You know the usual." He asked. "Nazio, I never knew you were into my cousin." He said over to Ignazio.

I poured some marshmallows into one of the coffee mugs slowly as I wanted to hear what stupid thing they were going to say. You know, they're boys.

"It was... Uh... The moment. We just happened to... Uh... You know bump and yeah we kissed." He stuttered.

"Oh. Okay." Jerry replied. These boys are dumb... Adorable but dumb really. I smiled to myself and shook my head before I turned around and handed the mugs back to him.

"I thought you said you were going to pretend you saw nothing, yet you're here asking what was going on." His eyes widen for a moment and just took the mugs off my hands.

"Right. Well thanks Cuz!" He said and quickly left. I covered my mouth in I guess it was embarrassment or disbelief but I did that.

"I am sorry for what happened. I thought no one was around." Ignazio said. I turned around and noticed he had started putting the frosting on the cake.

"You don't have to apologise. I didn't know either." I said and walked back next to him.

I grabbed the other spatula and began putting the frosting in the other side. There was an entire 10 minute silence between us... A really awkward silence, but he was the one who broke it.

"Your lips taste like chocolate." I really wanted to laugh so I just bit my lips with a grin.

"And yours like marshmallows." I replied. I noticed what I had said and quickly looked up, kinda regretting what had just came out from my mouth.

He was looking at me now but instead of him saying something, he laughed and I couldn't help but laugh too. "That was a close one." Ignazio said after we calmed down.

"Yeah. Let's just be careful of our actions okay?" I said and he nodded.

*Later that night*
Ignazio's POV:

"Thank you so much for your compliments. I really did this out of gratefulness." I said. The guests, including Leila's mom, herself and Kayla had been saying how good the food had come out.

"No, thank you, for giving us a different taste to our pallets. Tell me, what part of Italy are you from? Is this cuisine from where you are?" Leila's mother asked. I swallowed hard as I knew if I answered this I could get caught in my own lie.

I had said I was from Rome, I worked as a butler for a rich family and I actually liked it... All a lie.

"I... I am from Rome and not exactly. Each region in Italy has a signature plate and the one I did is from Marsala." I stuttered.
