Melanie
I left Diamond in her room to get settled in and I began to prepare dinner. I decided to make her favorite meal, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn bread; at least I think that's still her favorite. I began peeling the potatoes and placing them in a bowl, Diamond walked in the kitchen about five minutes later. "Please tell me you're making what I think you're making!" She said with excitement in her voice. "Well what do you think I'm making, love?" I asked playfully. "My favorite dish in the world!" "Meatloaf!" We both said excitedly in unison. We both broke out in hysterical laughter. We began reminiscing again and telling jokes. I missed this, laughing and joking with my best friend.

Diamond
Melanie was everything that I remembered her to be; funny, smart, a great cook and incredibly gorgeous. I watched her as she took the meatloaf out of the oven and placed the corn bread in. "So what do you wanna do tonight? We can watch movies all night, we can go out, we can talk." Melanie asked breaking me out of my thoughts. "I'd rather just stay in and chill with you. What type of movies do you have?" I asked. "Well I have a few dvds but most of the movies are on Netflix, the fire stick and Hulu, so I pretty much have anything you'd want to watch." She said while mixing the mashed potatoes.

We both made our plates and made our way to the living room. Melanie began flipping through the horror movie section on the fire stick, giving me an evil grin. She knows I hate scary movies. We decided on The Conjuring. We both stuffed our faces while trying to pay attention to the movie. "You know I'm sleeping in your bed right?" I said as I got up to throw my plate away. "My bed? Why?" Melanie asked following me in the kitchen. "Cause you know I hate scary movies." I said in a whining voice. "Girl bye, you're the one who dragged me to go see Paranormal Activity." She said crossing her arms. "I knew paranormal activity was fake and I still ended up in your bed that night." "Fine." Melanie said uncrossing her arms, "but I get to sleep against the wall." She said before walking back to the living room.
