Diamond
I woke up in the middle of the night, it was about two in the morning. I looked down and saw Melanie laying on my stomach, she looked so peaceful until she farted. I think she scared herself out of her sleep because she woke up as soon as she let loose. I lightly chuckled and turned my nose up. She looked up at me, not realizing what she had done.
"You stink." I said as I looked back at her.
"Huh?"
"You farted in your sleep." I said as I laughed. She sat up and adjusted herself in embarrassment.
"It's cool, it's not like you haven't done it in front of me before." I assured her.
"Yeah I know, but still.." she said as her voice trailed off.
"Mel it's okay." I said as I stood up and stretched.

We both stayed up for another hour until we got tired again. I got up to go to my room until I saw that Melanie had dozed off again.
"Mel. Mel get up." I whispered. She groaned and sighed and eventually opened her eyes. She gave me a soft smile and sat up. "How long was I sleep?"
"Not too long, you ready to lay down? I know the couch can get uncomfortable after a while." I said as I stood before her.
"Yeah-yeah." She stuttered. I helped her up and we made our way to the hallway.
"Do you think I could sleep with you tonight?" I asked as we approached her bedroom door.
"Sure." She said as we walked in.

We both laid in her bed and got comfortable. I turned on my side and felt Melanie snuggle up to me. Feeling her body against mine put me at ease as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next day around eleven in the morning , Diamond was still asleep. I got up to shower, leaving Diamond alone in the bed.

I walked into my room after showering to see that Diamond had left. I shrugged my shoulders and got dressed. I decided I would lay back in bed after I ate something. I sat on my bed and thought about what I wanted when I was taken out of my thoughts by a knock on my door. Diamond walked in and the aroma of breakfast and brewed coffee filled the room.
"Hey I made breakfast." She said as she smiled.
"Yeah I smell." I said as I chuckled. We both made our way to the kitchen and sat down. We ate and made small talk until there was nothing left to say. I straightened up the kitchen and Diamond sat in the kitchen to keep me company. She sat on her phone and mindlessly scrolled through social media. "What?" She said cluelessly.
"Nothing..." I said as I softly smiled. She didn't press me about it and I was glad she didn't.

After cleaning up, we both decided to chill in my room for the rest of the day. I wanted to spend as much time with Diamond as I possibly could. I dreaded the fact that she would be leaving in a couple of weeks but she seemed pretty excited to get back home. We snuggled in my bed and watched a few movies.
