Third person P.O.V.
"Have you read this!?" Burr exclaims in surprise, a hand slapping against his mouth.
Madison stares at the crowd reading the Laurens Pamphlet in disbelief, "I knew he was ignorant but not to the point he'd ruin his own life!"
"You've never seen someone ruin their own life!" Jefferson hops on the table of the bar the men are sitting in, "He's never gonna be president now, that's one less thing to worry about!"
"Have you read this!?" Burr tosses the Pamphlet to a man, "Alexander Hamilton had a torrid affair!" His finger follows the words he reads aloud, "And he wrote it down right there!"
"DAYUM!" Jefferson clasps his hands on either side of his face in sarcastic shock, "Who would've seen that one coming?"
Madison peeks over the shoulder of a young woman who reads aloud, "The charge against me Is a connection with one James Reynolds! For purposes of Improper speculation! My real crime is an amorous connection with his wife, For a considerable time, With his knowing consent!?"
"Damn!" Burr and Jefferson sing simultaneously.
"I had frequent meetings with her... Most of them at my own house."
"At his own house!" Burr said.
"At his own house!" Madison repeats in disbelief.
Jefferson jumps, "Damn!"
"Mrs. Hamilton with our children being absent
On a visit to her father." The woman said."No..."
"There goes the competition out the door," Jefferson grins toothily, spinning his cane and dancing childishly.
Angelica's P.O.V.
I felt tears prick my eyes, I could imagine the hurt Y/n and John must be going through at the moment. How could he? How could SHE!? My own sister! Y/n's friend since we were toddlers! How could she do this!? Why did they do this!?
I'm perplexed...
I had sent a letter to George Washington, addressing him of the current situation. He'd already heard and is apparently on his way to the Hamilton residence in a rush. I could imagine his face when he saw the Pamphlet...
"MY SON DID WHO!? HE'S SO FUCKING DEAD!"
I shove past the crowd of people, the Pamphlet is everywhere...
It's pinned to houses...
All over the ground...
It's in the newspaper...
It's taped to poles...
This is some kind of nightmare!
My eyes grow wide as I see not only Burr but both Madison and Jefferson passing out the Pamphlet!
Fools!
"Ah, Mrs. Church!" Burr smirks widely at me, Jefferson quickly hiding behind Madison in fear. I send a glare at him and he yelps.
He spoke badly about Alexander and his children one time and I bitch-slapped him so hard, he refused to go to conventions if I were to be there.
"How could you be passing out pamphlets like this!?" I snap in pure rage, Jefferson flinching and Madison's brows raising in shock. "Think of Y/n! What would she think if she knew you—whom she trusted, are telling everyone about her unadulterated husband and ruining her life!? Are you satisfied!? God, I hope you're satisfied!"
