A mistake-I proved right

Part 54

Its been a week now since that incident and police were investigating the case, while everyone got busy with their daily lives sanyu was terrified about the fact that now it was not just her but samar who was being targeted, she could bear herself getting hurt but not samar and to top that, she felt disappointed at herself for yet another reason which was that kiss she shared with rd, she felt stupid to even feel like her life would change, that she could try and be happy and that incident that same night was an indication that being happy was not her thing, at least not in this life. After that night, she preferred to keep a bit distance from him because she didn't want to look like she was taking advantage of his goodness and honestly speaking she was embarrassed to face him and the things were in her favor in that case because he has not visited H&R since his arrival because he was still busy with sanyal group of company and he usually did H&R's work from home

Right now she was in the H&R's factory with a senior engineer inspecting the work and taking notes, but she was afraid about something else, earlier today when she was preparing to come to the factory, her senior approached her and told her that after office hours, she was supposed to go to shekhawat house to drop a few files to rd, apparently everyday it was one of the interns job to do that and today was her day.

Even though she was tensed, once she entered the factory, the fact that she was surrounded by machines made her heart warm and all the disturbing thoughts were pushed to the back of her head to be worried about later.

Later that evening

It was time to leave and sanyu was having a hard time finding some excuse to not go to shekhawat house but her trance of thoughts were broken by a thud sound caused by a few files that were now kept in front of her, oh how much she wanted to somehow make them disappear or may be teleport them to shekhawat house.

Senior-these are the files for today...be sure to deliver them on your way, no slacking away

Said her senior in a very diplomatic threatening tone

Sanyu(picking up the files)-yes mam

She stands up and goes to vids's cubicle

Vids- oh its your day(looking at the files in her hand and smiling)

Sanyu-whats with that smile

Vids-ahh nothing, just thinking that you will be visiting shekhawat house for the first time

Sanyu-so...

Vids-so nothing...lets just go

She grabs her own bag and goes to towards the lift while sanyu follows

Sanyu-no...I know it was nothing...why did you smile like that

Vids(smirks)-why do think there is something?

Sanyu-huh?

Vids-I was just smiling the way I usually do but why are interpreting things....is it may be because it involves shekhawat house or....randhir sir?

Sanyu just scoffs

Sanyu-why does everyone keeps on mentioning him every now and then in irrelevant places

Vids-we do?

Sanyu gives her a look which completely says "you are unbelievable" for which vids shrugs and walks out of the elevator as they have reached the ground floor

Sanyu-anyways, can you come with me

This time vids turned to her and gave her a genuine apologetic look
