Its been a week after that day when Natasha cried in his arms and slept there for the rest of the night.

Yes it was awkward the other day when Natasha woke up to a sleeping karan on whose lap she was seated comfortably and he had his hands curled around her securing her there, she remembers looking at his sleepy face and she cant deny the fact that he was quite handsome and looked really innocent which was far from reality, she knew what he was, how he was, but deep down inside, she had a feeling that there was a reason why he was like this, was it because of that lady, she remembers her thought being interrupted by his hissing sound, looks like he was waking up and he was in pain, that's when she remembered that this guy on whom she was lying comfortably have a recently healed rib cage, she in a swift stands up from his lap and he gives a big yelp and catches on to her hand and opens his eyes to look at her

Karan-are you ok

Natasha looks at his dewy morning eyes and his raspy morning voice did something to her stomach

Not finding her responding, karan slowly stands up and holds onto her cheeks and makes her look up

Karan-are you fine Natasha, I am sorry about all that I said last night, I had no idea about anything

Natasha-its ok, and thank you

Karan nods

Karan-pls let me know if you need any help

Natasha nods

Natasha-I'll make breakfast for you

Karan-no, its fine, I can manage that, but first come, let me drop you home

Natasha-no, I'll.......i can go on my own, I came on my bicycle

Karan-what!!! You came on that at that time of the night?

Natasha-I didn't come for weeks and I wanted to check up on you, I wasn't able to find an auto

Which was far from truth , in reality she just wanted to run from her now empty apartment, her mom went back to Mumbai with her brother and she left angry because Natasha refused to leave with them, because she knew once they leave, her uncle will definitely marry her off, and so she left, she had no idea where she was going then but to her surprise, she had paddled to his house, the house of her patient.

Karan-what? Auto? Are you stupid? Don't you dare use public transportation at that time of the hour, if you want I'll come, just call me, ok?

She looks at him and nods

Natasha-i.....i'll go for now

Karan-ok, take care

She clumsily walks out of there

And after that morning nothing was talked about the same

Her thoughts were broken by an interruption from her co-worker

Co-worker-hey nats, how is your doctor doctor game going

Natasha-huh?

Co-worker-arrey, with that playboy, did he try something on you

Natasha gives her a disgusted look

Natasha-why do you always talk like that about him

Co-worker-duh! Because he is like that
