Ok so this book is going on hold soon! I am not happy with this book completely but I won't discontinue this book, it only mean I will make it shorter than planned.

I slowly open the note.

Hi child.  You may have escaped this time but know, I will come back for you.

And that's all it said.

I was shaking. I was crying but I knew I had no emotion on my face. I was scared beyond belief. My blood,  bones, eyes, and heart we're filled with fear.

He is coming back for me.... And this time I don't think I'll make it out alive.

To say I was scared was an understatement.

"Y/n!" I hear a voice breaking me out of my thoughts.

I snap my head towards Gene.

He grabs my face with his hands, looking at me in the eyes.

"Y/n, look, I don't know what's on that letter but I need you to calm down. I'm right here, Aphmau too. Your safe." He says softly trying to get me to calm down.

I sniff a little then nod my head.

He then pulls me into a bear hug. I listened to his heart beat trying to calm down.

"Aph, hand me the letter." He says taking one arm off me, reaching over to Aph.

"Ok, when your done can I read it?" She asks handing it to him.

"Sure." He mumbles looking at the note.

I imedeitly feel him tense up. His arms squeezing me tighter. I couldn't tell what was going on in his head but I could tell by how he held me, he was also scared, But not because my father. He was scared of loosing me.

How did a daughter of a drunk used as a punching bag, abandoned by her mother. Have people like this in my life.

People, who cared.

After we left Gene wanted to come back with me to Aphmau's house. I know I live there too but I don't know if I should call it my house yet.

We reached the door Aphmau entering first.

"I'll let you guys talk. If you need me I'll be in my room or with my mom." She says softly, barely a whisper.

I nod taking Gene into my room.

We reach my room. I open my wooden door slowly hearing the screeching of the door opening. The only noise that could be heard in the house at the moment.

I walked into my room first taking a set on my bed.

After Aphmau read the note I ripped it to pieces and threw it on the floor. Adding to the mess in the house.

Gene came and sat next to me on the bed.

He puts his hand on the small of my back rubbing soothing circles.

"Y/n." He says softly, catching my attention.

I look at him and see his gaze is fixed on a random object in my room.

"Yeah?" I whisper, that being the first thing I said since we saw the note.

He looks at me. A frown on his face.

"I know that I've been a jerk and left you when you needed me. You always came to me for help. You trusted me, but I pushed you away, hurting you more than you already were. I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry I hurt you. I know you said you forgave me but I want to make it up to you, let me make it up to you. " He says golding my hand in his.

I give him a questionable look.

"Let me make it up to you by protecting you. Protecting you from your dad. From the evil. I want to protect you. For you to come back to me. For you to trust me." He says softly.

My eyes start to get blurry. My eyes watering.

I feel some tears escape my eyes running down my cheek.

He wipes them away with his thumb.

"Will you let me? Let me protect you as your boyfriend?" He asks.

My eyes widen in shock.

Did the big bad boy of the school just ask me to be his grilfriend??

"What? Me?" I ask.

He chuckle a little.

"No, I asked lady Gaga. " He laughs making blush a little.

"Yes you! Your smart, kind and gosh you are so beautiful!  I love you and I want to be with you." He says softly putting a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

I blush harder making him laugh a little more.

I nod my head before hugging him.

"I love you too." I whisper into his chest. Listening to his heart beat.

This boy saved me from everything.

He's my gardian angel.

And I love him.
