*Michael has two moms, thank you*

"Mahal Kita," Michael said casually as he and Jeremy were playing a game. Michael hadn't meant to say it, but he really did mean it. He just didn't know how else to say it.

"What?" Jeremy asked, looking at his boyf riend. Michael would occasionally say small phrases in Filipino, but this was a new one.

"Hm?" Michael responded. He hadn't even realized what he was saying.

"What's mahal kita?" Jeremy asked. Michael turned slightly red.

"Oh... It's nothing," he said nervously.

"Oh. Okay!" Jeremy replied. He didn't want to force any information from Michael, so he resolved to find an answer later.

"Michael! Please go to the store quickly! Your mother and I need ingredients for dinner!" Michael's mom called.

"Okay!" he yelled back. "You don't mind staying with my moms, do you?" Jeremy shook his head. After Michael left, Jeremy went upstairs to talk with Michael's moms.

"Jeremy!" Michael's mom, Linda, greeted him. He smiled and waved.

"Hello, Linda," he said politely. Michael's other mom, Jasmine, walked in.

"Jeremy! Kamusta!" she exclaimed. Jeremy had learned a few phrases from Michael, so he understood what she said.

"I'm doing well," he said softly. "Hey, um, what does 'mahal kita' mean?" Both Jasmine and Linda froze and looked at each other.

"Michael said it to me, but didn't tell me what it meant," he explained. Jasmine smiled and looked to Linda, who nodded happily.

"Well, Jeremy. I tell Linda 'mahal kita' everyday. It means I love you," she said joyfully. Jeremy's eyes widened, and he smiled.

"Thank you so much. I'm going to go back downstairs to wait for Michael," he stated, leaving quickly.

"I'm home!" Michael's voice called. Jeremy smiled, but stayed where he was. Michael came downstairs, and grinned at Jeremy.

"Hey Jerebear," he greeted the small boy.

"Mahal kita," Jeremy replied. Michael turned red again. Jeremy repeated the phrase. Finally, he sat right next to Michael, who whispered.

"I love you," he said quietly.

"I love you too," Jeremy responded, kissing his Riend.
