"JEREMY YOU GOTTA GET OVER HERE NOW!" Michael yelled into his phone. He felt panic coursing through his body as he looked out of the kitchen towards the seven-year-old girl sitting on the couch. Why did his moms sign him up for this?? They knew children made Michael uncomfortable. His anxiety was bad enough, children just made it worse. Luckily, Jeremy could handle children much better than Michael could.

"Um, yeah. Okay. I'll be there in five," Jeremy replied, sounding concerned and confused. Michael hung up, relaxing. At least he was until he heard the cause of his panic turn to face him. Unfortunately, children didn't feel the same way Michael felt about them. The small girl was currently looking at him curiously, almost smiling.

"Who's Jeremy? Is he coming to play with us?" the girl, Lillie, questioned. She had curly brown hair that went past her shoulders, and pretty green eyes. Her face and limbs were scattered with freckles, and she had a gap where a front tooth once resided. She was wearing a light pink shirt with a peace sign on the front, as well as a pair of blue shorts. Michael sighed nervously as he ran a hand through his hair.

"U-uh, yeah... Jeremy's a friend of mine and he's coming to help me look after you," Michael answered, begging for Jeremy to arrive soon. After what seemed like hours of Michael and Lillie staring at each other, there was a knock at the door. Michael practically sprinted to greet Jeremy, a curious Lillie standing not too far behind Michael.

"Micha? Is everything okay?" Jeremy quickly asked, looking at Michael to try and see if he was hurt.

"Yeah, uh, my moms just... they had a friend that needed someone to watch their kid while they all went on a double date. I was unwillingly chosen," Michael explained, gesturing to Lillie, who stood shyly in the background. Jeremy walked inside, bending down to Lillie's height.

"Hello, Lillie. I'm Jeremy," he introduced himself, holding out his hand. She politely shook it, smiling. Michael instantly calmed down, grinning to himself as he watched Jeremy interacting with Lillie.

"Do you like video games?" Jeremy asked the small brunette, who eagerly nodded. Jeremy stood and turned back to face Michael.

"Do you still have that extra Wii remote? We could all play Mario Kart," Jeremy suggested. Between both Jeremy and Lillie's pleading grins, Michael just sighed once again, looking between the two of them.

"Fine. It can be a three player game today," he chuckled, his smile widening as he saw them both practically bouncing with joy. He grabbed the third Wii remote, pink and dusty, and handed it to Jeremy, who cleaned it off and gave it to Lillie. Michael and Jeremy grabbed their own remotes while Lillie turned on the system, per Michael's request. Whilst Jeremy logged them all in, Michael grabbed a spare bean bag out of his bedroom closet and placed between his and Jeremy's. Everyone picked a character and a vehicle as the game began.

*twelve levels later*

"Dang! I'm with you beating Jeremy but don't beat me!" Michael joked, prompting giggles from Lillie, as well as some offended noises from Jeremy.

"At least I'm in 3rd place!" Jeremy argued. Michael just snickered and dropped a banana peel, which made Jeremy's Luigi slip and fall into 5th. Just as they finished the last lap, Mrs. Linda Mell called for Lillie.

"Lillie! Your mom is waiting outside for you!" she yelled. Lillie pouted and handed the remote back to Michael.

"Thanks guys. I had fun today. See you later!" she waved and ran upstairs. Michael and Jeremy both smiled and waved as she left, then turned to each other.

"Wasn't as bad as you thought, was it Mell?" Jeremy teased, grinning slyly.

"Yeah... I wasn't the one losing to a seven year old AND his best friend," Michael smirked, laughing as Jeremy hit him with the previously occupied spare bean bag.

A/N: Everytime I wrote 'Lillie', autocorrect changed it to Killer. Just thought you might like to know.
