(Friday, 24th, October, 1988)
IT HAD BEEN two weeks since Caitlin was suspended and she was helping around the house.
Caitlin was studying and helping out with the twins. She got letters from her friends almost everyday, telling her how their day went or what everyone was talking about in the school.
Sean and Alaina Monroe weren't very happy about what had happened but they weren't mad at their daughter either.
"Caitlin!" Alaina called down from the bottom of the stairs. Caitlin walked down the stairs. "Yeah, mum?" Caitlin asked her and she saw the notes in her hand.
"These are for you."
Alaina handed the letters to her daughter who smiled widely and took them. Then she walked back up the stairs and read them.
Dear Caitlin
Why did you have to go off and get suspended? Like we could've confronted him together! TOGETHER WOMAN BUT THEN YOU HAVE TO GO OFF AND GET YOURSELF SUSPENDED AND you left me with these mad people! Charlie has been asking me how you are every single day, can you write him a letter to tell him that you are fine?
You're brother is back on his feet, well he already was a week ago but he's been going to classes and practice.
I'll come and visit you next week since we are all off for halloween. How are the twins? I haven't seen them in ages! How are your mum and dad as well, tell them that their favourite daughter is coming home to see them!

Caitlin smiled as she read the letter then she picked up another one which was from her brother.
Dear Caitlin
Kai and his friends just got busted, I'm sure that your happy to hear. They were torturing
a poor little Gryffindor first year because she was a muggle-born. They were caught in the act and now they are all suspended.
I also hate you for leaving me with Tonks, how do you put up with her every since day? I mean she's so loud and.........loud. Like there's no other way to describe her then loud. How is everyone at home? You don't have to answer that because I'll see them next week.
I hope you are staying out of trouble! Don't make mum and dad more angrier than they all ready are. See you soon.

Caitlin then picked up another letter and she knew who wrote it.
Caitlin I am sorry that I left you alone and that you had to go and see Kai but yourself. I left you whenever you were angry and upset about your brother, you shouldn't be the one who is suspended. Well I should as well, I should of gone with you instead of going to bed, I am sorry. I could've stopped you and now look at what has happened.
I hope that you are well and that you would write me a letter back. Please just send a letter to say that your okay.

"It isn't his fault." She said to herself.
"He shouldn't blame himself for what I have done."
"Merlin, what did I do?"
"No one would ever forget what has happened."
