Episode 5: Enter, Demon of the Hidden Mist

"Your clan kinda brought it upon themselves, but I don't agree with the measures taken to stop them." team 7 has been on the move for a while.

Madara had calmed down and Yudai's shoulder was slowly returning to normal. Now, Yudai decided to watch his team from behind which allowed him to speak with the spirit rukh more freely.

Hashirama had insisted Yudai explain why the Uchiha clan was massacred by one of their own too which Yudai was happy to explain.

Conflict no matter where I go. Why can't the Uchiha get along with the other clans?

"Well their sharingan is the main factor. That and the stone thing they keep in their basement." Yudai replied as he slung his arms behind his head.

How do you know of that?

"I'm the heir to the Nadare clan, and third son of Sinan and Zahar. How could I not?" Yudai smirked.

As Madara and Hashirama engaged in some long delayed arguing and chatting, Yudai took note of the new environment.

The Land of Fire was probably the most balanced nation when it came to climate. Wind was too hot, Water was too wet, Lightning was too stormy, and Earth was too rocky.

"Hey Yudai, what do you think about Hokage-sama?" Sakura brought Yudai's attention back to reality.

"Hokage-sama? Hm, well I do respect him. He was once a pupil to Nidaime-sama, and he did know Shodi-sama." Yudai stated calmly as the group stopped to rest.

"Wow really? Hokage-sama actually knew the Nidaime and Shodi? That's awesome." Sakura exclaimed with a smile.

"When I become hokage, I'm gonna be ten times as awesome as them." Naruto declared with a grin.

"Dobe, the Shodi is known as the god of shinobi. You don't stand a chance." Sasuke scoffed.

"Uchiha is sorta right. The Shodi set the bar pretty high for a genin of your level." Yudai half agreed as the group began to move once again.

While they walked, Yudai took note of the two chakra signatures that have been following them since they left the village. Their chakra masking abilities were strong, but Yudai could easily pick up on their rukh.

As they passed over a bridge, Yudai took note of a puddle up ahead. Having not sensed any rain for the past few days or hours, this rose a red flag.

"Porcupine-sensei" Yudai whispered as he dropped back to walk behind Tazuna.

"Just keep walking." Kakashi replied in the same low voice.

Amateurs

"Jalidon wabil!" Yudai turned to launch his storm of ice shards just as two ninjas emerged from the puddle.

Their headbands showed the symbol of Kiri as the two quickly dodged. Their sharp chains shot out and went to wrap Kakashi. Unfortunately, one ended up slipping slightly on the layer of ice that was forming and gave Kakashi the chance to perform a substitution.

That didn't stop the ninjas from ripping it to pieces. The horrid sight caused chaos in the other's minds as Yudai stood by Tazuna who was looking guilty.

"Whiskers move!" Yudai ordered as the two appeared behind Naruto.

Naruto was frozen in place with fear. Thankfully Sasuke trapped their chain to a tree before anything could happen.

"Cherry, you and Tazuna stay behind me." Yudai stated as he flew threw some hand seals.

"Ice style: Ice barrier." Yudai slammed his hands on the ground to create an impenetrable barrier of ice around Tazuna.
