Episode 6: Yudai hates water

A tense silence has fallen as the four genin stood around Tazuna with weapons drawn. With assassin trained eyes, Yudai could easily tell the mist was becoming thicker and thicker.

"Guys, cover your ears for a sec." Yudai ordered as he brought his flute to his lips.

The four didn't argue as they obeyed. With a deep breath, Yudai played a sharp note on his flute. The force of the sound waves caused the mist surrounding the group to instantly clear. Creating a "safe space" and allowing his team a clear view of their surroundings.

"Stay sharp. Zabuza could attack at any time." Yudai growled.

Silence once again settled in. Yudai trained his ears on the surrounding rukh and chakra while also tapping into Madara's and Hashirama's ninja skills. Since they were technically rukh, Yudai could borrow power from them if he really needed to.

From the mist, Yudai heard a voice.

"Eight points. Larex, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subpladian artery, kidneys, heart. Now, where will I strike first?"

Yudai felt his body tense. His fists began to tremble slightly as he tried to stay calm and level headed.

Try to relax Yudai. Don't overthink the situation.

"Right, got it." Yudai mumbled.

A rush of chakra soon filled the air as more mist was forced away. Yudai's silver eyes watched as a blue aura of chakra surrounded Kakashi.

The air was tense. The slightest of movement could trigger his attack.

From the rukh, Yudai could tell Sasuke was thinking the exact same thing. However, Yudai could tell the mentality of the situation was weighing heavier on his teammates than on him.

The Nadare clan was small, but extremely dangerous. They have only their training and way of life to thank for that.

At an early age, earlier than most clan kids, the children of the Nadare clan are exposed to the truth of the world.

"Which is why innocence is only a word and nothing more."

Zahar was a kind and nurturing mother yes, but Sinan was the clan head and father to the future heir. It was his job to make sure his clan is safe and has a solid grasp on the future.

That is why children are exposed at the age of five to the truth of the world. When Kousen and Shiro died, Sinan saw it best to expose Yudai much sooner. Zahar obviously objected, but went along with it after a long and heated argument.

Sinan is a kind, loving, and devoted father. He loved Kousen and Shiro with all his heart, so when they were killed by the fox he saw it necessary if it meant his last child was to survive. Since then, Sinan became a little more manipulative and dangerous.

"Sasuke, calm down. I will not let you die." Kakashi's confident words caught the team's attention.

"I won't let my comrades die, trust me." Kakashi dared to give a smile in this tense moment.

Yudai held his tongue seeing as his words helped his team. With gentle movements, Yudai began to weave more signs.

"I wouldn't be so sure." a flicker of movement and Zabuza appeared right in front of Tazuna.

The shock of his speed caused a moment of slight hesitation. A moment to long as Yudai sprung into action.

"Ice style: Stagnation!" Yudai called out the name of the jutsu he performed prior to the thick mists appearance.
