I'm better off this way

I'm sure you are too

I'm definitely better off

Not falling in love with you

My friends says it's useless

Even if I give it my best

They keep telling me it's hopeless

Because I'll never beat the rest

But I've tried to let you go

I've tried my best to regret

But the memory of you

Is so hard to forget

I know I'm not supposed to fall

I know I'm not supposed to try

But the thought of being without you

Makes me want to cry

The thought of you

Will forever be etched in my memory

But it really hurts to know

That you have to forget about me

But it's better off that way

It's the way it's meant to be

Because it's definitely better

For you not to fall in love with me
