You never liked commitment. You hated the idea of being tied down with someone for the rest of your life. You wanted to explore many things in life, and being tied down would not let you.
You were classified as the heartbreaker, or trouble, and even the player. You didn't mind, you we're still a commitment free girl.
Every time a boy tried coming close to you, you would warn them, that you'd be on to the next quick, and if they couldn't handle that, then messing with you wasn't a thing they should do. But, they'd do it anyway. Crying with a broken heart as soon as you were with the next.
Zach was passing through y/ht/n for a concert when he first saw you. You were dressed in black skinny jeans with a red crop top. You wore the right amount of makeup, and your hair was curled just a bit to be casual. He instantly was hooked to you.
He saw you again at a restaurant with a couple of your friends, it was a small group but it was what you liked. He had approached you, introducing himself.
After a very flirtatious conversation Zach had achieved getting your number, going back to his friends with a huge grin on his face. Meanwhile your friends had a guilt face.
"Y/n don't do him like the other guys," one of your friends said as you guys left. You rolled your eyes. They always told you the same thing, and you never listened.
"I'll tell him what I tell the others. Then it's his choice if he gets involved with me, then that is his problem not mine," you replied hoping in your car, your friends following you soon after.
unknown: hey, is this by any chance, y/n?
y/n: indeed it is, so I assume that this is Zach
zach: and you assumed correctly 😂
You placed your phone back down putting your attention back to the movie you we're currently watching. It was a romantic movie, which you secretly enjoyed. Just because you didn't want commitment doesn't mean you did enjoyed watching others commitment to each other.
zach: so I'm only here for a couple of days, but I wasn't going to let the opportunity slip... want to do something? Just the two of us?
y/n: sure. tomorrow at the movies? I'll send you the address
zach: sounds like a deal, see you then.
As soon as you made the plans Zach fist pumped the air, he was excited to hang out with a cute girl that he was destined to get to know better and hope for future things.
-the next night-
You had dressed as you always did. A short white skirt with a tight black shirt to go with. A pair of vans and your hair pulled back.
You waited for Zach to meet you at the movie theater that you always went to. Then you saw him pull up, with a small smile placed on his face. He looked good, but it didn't matter so much.
"Hey, you look good," Zach said as he got to you. Zach was nervous to be with you, someone so beautiful and breathtaking.
"Thank you," you said smiling at him. "Are you up to watching a thriller?" You asked as you guys looked at the movies that were playing.
-after the movie-
As you exited, you and Zach walked together around the town. As you did some of the boys you use to know and girls gave Zach a sympathetic look.
Then Zach grew tired of all those looks. "Why do they keep giving me sympathetic looks." Zach asked you as you were away from the people.
"There is a reason for that." You replied in a monotone. "But before I tell you, what do you expect from this, about us?"
Zach stood there for a minute before he spoke, "Well, I'd like to know you more. You're too cute not to want to know." He said, and you knew you had to tell him.
"Listen Zach, I'm not the girl to make commitments. I hate the idea of being tied down, and once I'm gone, I'm onto the next guy. Or I play around. Never the same guy twice." You said to Zach watching as he took all the information in.
"Okay." Zach replied after moments of silence. He grabbed onto your hand before walking back to the movie theater.
You were completely stunned. "Okay?" You asked as you stopped in your tracks Zach stopping a few feet in-front of you.
"It gives me sometime to get you to be commit to someone, and that'll be me." Zach said with a playful smirk.
You doubted that he'd be the one that would make you change your ideals, your ways. But you would like to see him try.
-six months later-
Ever since the night with Zach only 6 months ago, you changed everything you did.
Zach did make you want to commit to only one person. You weren't against it anymore. And everyone was surprised to see you with one guy more then a couple of days.
Though you hated to admit to Zach that he was right about changing your mind, it didn't make you love him any less.
"You just had to fall in love with the right guy," your friends told you when you told them about you and Zach being an official thing.
They were proud of their girl finding someone that makes them tie down to one. They were happy that it was Zach making you happy.
And their were right, it takes the right guy to make a commitment free girl commit to someone.
