The Fairy Is Gone

You and Astro ran along the winding path of deceased nature. It wasn't so much a 'path' anymore, but you could tell where the windups took Uran because of the broken trees and the large foot marks on the grey, dead grass. You continuously looked around for some clues, maybe Uran wiggled out of their grasp and ran away. Maybe they dropped her. Or maybe they smashed her into little porcelain bits! You shook your head no and slowed down your running, you couldn't let your mind wander off to what could have happened to Uran.

"Astro please!" You tried to grab onto him. "I don't have much stamina. I can't run like you can." You slowed down and leaned on a nearby tree to catch your breath.

He stopped and turned back to face you. He felt all kinds of emotions, fear, anger and sadness. You and Astro had been running for a straight hour, how could he not of noticed you were still human and needed to rest and breath? He stepped closer to you as you tried to gasp for breaths of air.

"Are you going to be okay?" He asked. Placing his hand on your back. "We only have a little more to go then we should be there." You nodded, still gasping for breaths.

"It's okay... I'm alright.. I just needed a break." You pulled back your hair out of your face and looked up at the taller boy.

"Do you want me to carry you?" Astro asked, you then quickly straightened your posture. You face turned red at what you thought it would be like with Astro holding you in his arms. It would be so warm and comfy, he would hold you so close to his chest and...-

"N-No!" You pushed him back and began running again, maybe even a little faster than before.

"H-Hey! Wait up!" Astro then began to run with you too. I guess just getting flustered like a fan girl was all the energy you needed to run a marathon.

"(Y/N)." Astro placed right his arm out in front of your chest to stop you from running anymore.

"Are we here?" You asked, looking around to see that past a few bushes and trees, there was a humongous castle. You gasped, it was grey and had overgrown plants all over it, it was so horrendously unkept.

Astro's eyes widened and he clenched onto his sword's handle while shivering. He looked like he was going to throw up, that is.. if he could. "This was hers.." He suddenly looked mad as all hell.

"What-" Astro didn't wait for you to finish your statement.

"This was her kingdom!" Astro drew his sword quickly, making a slashing noise. "This stupid rat has taken her power and turned everything dark!" You now understood what Astro was so angry about, the Sugar plum fairy was being held captive while the robot king ruled over her kingdom with no care for it. You didn't bother to calm Astro down, because you yourself started to feel immeasurable anger. All this was because of him. He took Uran, he took many toy's lives, he took away the beauty of this place, but, how did you even know what it used to look like anyway? You had never been here before. Something told you that it was a wonderful home for toys of all brands.

"What's the source of the robot kings power?" You asked Astro sternly. He was taken aback by your sudden personality change, did you feel as mad as him? He took his eyes off of you and walked closer to the end of the woods.

"I don't know.." He sighed. "But I have a feeling we are going to find out." Astro furrowed his brow.

"Then let's get this over with." You stepped forward and started to jog down the hill towards the castle. Astro followed behind and soon surpassed you, now leading the way. The air was damp and smelled sour, everything just looked like something out of a Goosebumps book, you just hoped that no living ventriloquist dummy would come out if nowhere and scare you both. "How do we get inside?" You asked, seeming to already know what Astro was going to say.

"Can you climb?" Astro asked, looking to you, stepping closer to the large brick wall that protected the kingdom and the castle. You looked up at the tall wall and gulped, you had to do this, to get back Uran and make sure the Robot King wouldn't win!

"I can try." You clenched your fists as you forced some sort of courage out of your body to face Astro.

"That's all I need you to do." Astro smiled at you. He cupped his hands together for you to step on so he could push you up. You took a deep breath and walked over to him, placing you foot in his hands.

"On three." You instructed, facing the wall, you hopped Astro was strong enough to push you up and over.

"One."

"Two."

"Three!" You pushed off the ground as much as you could and felt your body lift off with the amount of force Astro pushed you with. You were sure this was how Lucas felt when you double bounced him on the trampoline. You yelped out and grabbed onto the top of the wall and pulled yourself up onto it, you climbed over the ledge and found yourself on a pathway where the archers would usually stand to protect the castle.

"(Y/N)!" Astro called. "(Y/N) are you okay??"

"Y-Yeah.." you brushed yourself off and walked over to the edge of the path to look down at Astro. "Yeah! I'm okay!" You breathed out, your legs were shaking. Astro sighed in relief, as he then proceeded to stab the wall and use his sword as a way to get up.

Once you both had gotten over you were met with some familiar (and annoying) faces.

"Where could she be?!" Daze asked.

"We searched every single dungeon room!" Rhodey grumbled. They both looked at each other with complete fear in their eyes.

"Daze! Rhodey!" You called out, running up to them.

"(Y/N)!" They both turned to face you.

"Who couldn't you find?" Astro asked, walking up behind you.

"The Sugar plum fairy." They both began to break down. "We are doomed without her!"

You stepped back in shock. If she wasn't in the dungeons, there was no other place she could be! Your eyes opened to their fullest as you clenched onto the fabric of the clothes you wore. "Forget about her then! We can defeat the Robot King ourselves!" Astro's hands formed into fists. You turned to him.

"But I can't- we can't. He's got all the kingdoms guards on his side, we don't stand a chance!" You began to shake.

"You helped me do it before, so will you help me do it again?" Astro grabbed onto your hand and squeezed it. You looked back at Daze and Rhodey, they shook their heads, it was suicide going in a defeating him, but, if you did it with Astro, you would feel safe. The big question was, would you really go through with it?
