Gemstone of F4(Meteor Garden)- On Hold

Xiaoli's departure*

Friday, I didn't have any classes until later, so I decided to do some work around my studio. I was standing in the middle of the room, staring at a royal blue wrapped around a mannequin, it was very pretty and coming together as a gorgeous long evening dress.  I had several other dresses done along with some full outfits with accessories and such ready for whoever stopped by. 

I was preparing for my entry in fashion week, so I was getting everything ready. I've been to several showcases and fashion weeks and have won a few awards. There were fabric and balled up scraps everywhere and other junk scattered around me, it was a huge mess. 

I was leaning over the dress with a stitch needle in my mouth when the door slammed open, and I looked up seeing Ah Si looking angry. Meizuo and Ximen trailed behind them. They stopped looking around the room and then at me. 

"Um hello to you too, just come right in" I said in a snarky tone pulling the needle out of my mouth and stuck it in a box with other sizes. 

"You weren't at school we got worried" Ah Si said trying to defend his actions.

"Is that right" I asked crossing my arms looking between him and the other two Lei knocked before entering I smiled walking over to kiss his cheek as a greeting and then turned back to Si. "Sure, it isn't because Shancai ignored you?"

He looked at me wide eyes mouth opening to make excuses, but I cut him off. 

"Please Ah Si I know you to well, plus Ximen already told me" I said. 

Si turned to Ximen who smiled innocently I smirked giving them the make yourselves at home they got the message, Ximen went into the lounge already making tea whole Meizuo and Ah Si sat down on the small couch and Lei sat in a chair. 

Since I couldn't do anymore work with these guys here, I sat on Lei's lap. 

Ximen brought a tray in setting it on the table along with some cookies I had made earlier. I smiled taking a glass and taking a small sip setting it aside.

"Is this a new design?"

I looked up at my brother seeing him glancing towards my outfits.

"What is it?" Ah Si asked picking up one of my drawings of the dress and glanced at the four already done pieces. 

"Fashion week dress" I told him. "The others are for clients." He nodded.

"You're leaving tomorrow, right?" Meizuo asked. 

"Uh yeah I board early, meet with my manager and check out the fashion week stage." I told them laying back on Lei.

Later Ah Si left going to mess with Shancai, Ximen and Meizuo headed for the bar, while Lei and I headed home. 

I took my dress home with me so I could get it done. After finishing the last stitch, I sighed in content and stretched a little, I was drained after sewing and working so much. Aside from this dress I made about ten different outfits. 

I made sure the dress was packed before packing my suitcases with everything else I would need. Fashion week only happened twice a year and I was very lucky to be going. It always brought me new clients and customers to Gemstone. Plus, I liked going places, traveling. I got to see things. I wouldn't be gone that long, only two weeks and then back home. 

I decided to take a quick shower and got out, ready for bed and headed back into the living room seeing Lei sleeping on the couch his head tilted back looking uncomfortable. I laughed quietly walking over and sitting beside him.

"hey" 

I nudged him but he was sound asleep I tried again. 

"Lei go to bed you can't sleep like this" I told him softly.

He made a small noise rolling over his head fell on my shoulder, I laughed as he snuggled in. I nudged him again.

"Quit moving" 

"Do you want a stiff neck?" I asked.

I felt him shake his head burring deeper. 

"I just want a few more minutes, before I have to let you go tomorrow".

I smiled at that for a second.

"Huaze Lei go take a shower" I told him standing up walking into the bedroom and crawled into bed. Lei took his shower and quickly joined me making me grin.

Laying down I stared into his eyes, our hands intertwined both of us smiling bright. I felt him kiss my forehead as my eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep.

Morning came quickly Meizuo, Ah Si and Ximen took me to the airport Shancai came with, but Lei wasn't. We were standing at the loading. I smiled hugging Meizuo.

"Safe travels princess" Meizuo said I hugged him. 

Next was Ah Si I pointed a finger at him narrowing my eyes. 

"No trouble understand, if I find out you've done something wrong, I'll call a certain sister" I told him, He nodded quickly and gave a small smile hugging me.

I pulled back and looked at my brother both of us pouting I smiled a little and jumped on him, he caught me around the waist and hugged me tight I clung to him just as tight.  

I could feel the tears building he sat me down and we laughed as he wiped my eyes.

"It's okay MeiMei it's only a few days" Gege told me still hugging me a bit I smiled nodding.

Next was Shancai I smiled at her and hugged her too. 

"Don't let Ah Si get away with anything and keep my boys in check" I told her pulling back. "I leave them in your hands." 

She smiled and nodded. 

I straightened up, looking around sighing last night was wonderful but when I woke up this morning Lei was gone, I don't understand he didn't leave any message like he normally did and his phones off.

The boys did the same they were just as confused as I was maybe I made him mad by leaving but it wasn't like I was leaving forever it was only a couple days.

Ah Si draped an arm around me.

"Don't worry about Lei, I'm sure he just had something else to do." He told me. 

I nodded.

now boarding Shanghai to New York

I looked behind me seeing everyone going to the gate. I turned back to the group. 

"Stay out of trouble" 

Meizuo, Ah Si and Ximen circled around me giving me a long group hug.

I pulled back grabbing my carry-on bag waving as I walked off. I stopped at the counter turning to give one last look around the boys all shouted and waved I grinned winking and walked through the door.

Seated in first class I sat in my seat putting my earbuds in and looked out the window for a second then sighed listening to a song Serena introduced me too and closed my eyes laying back, listening to the lyrics.

 Someone sat beside me, but I ignored them. The person kissed my cheek making my eyes snapped open and ripping an earbud out turning to yell at the person and was startled when I saw Lei's amused face.

"You" 

He gave me his award-winning smile,

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"what not happy to see me, fine I'll leave" He said standing up to leave.

"are you crazy you can't leave now the planes already going". I told him reaching out grabbing his arm.

He laughed and sat back down reaching into his bag and pulling out his ticket I realized what he had done. 

I looked at him a smile coming to my face feeling excited I kissed him.
