Shancai has been living at Daoming Mansion for almost a couple weeks now and both her and Ah Si seemed to be happy. My shop was doing great, I had high marks in all of my classes. Running a business and going to school, plus the life of a housewife wasn't easy but I managed. 

Lying in bed I was well relaxed and taking my time, Lei was beside me. His arm laid loosely across my waist, and I could hear him softly breathing. Smiling to myself I carefully rolled over without waking him, just so I could stare at his face.

I would never get tired of waking up to this face. It's amazing we've known each other our entire childhood and started dating in high school. Before I knew it we were married and things just kind of fell into place. I was happy. 

I couldn't believe this was my life. 

Suddenly I felt a bile in the back of my throat. I rolled back over to my side quietly and headed for the bathroom, shutting the door and threw up. I won't go into much detail on how I was feeling but I suddenly felt tired. The happy go lucky feeling washed away.

Finishing up, I flushed and headed to the sink to get rid of the taste in my mouth and glanced up finding Lei at the door. He looked worried. 

I gave him a small smile of reassurance and headed back to the bed. Crawling into my side and just laid down. I felt the bed dip as Lei laid back down beside me, covering me up with the comforter and wrapped his arms around me. 

He didn't say anything just provided comfort.

Sitting in the hospital room I waited patiently for the doctor, Lei sat beside me holding my shaky hands. It made me nervous. I took a bunch of tests and were now waiting for the results.

"Miss Yan."

I looked up seeing a woman in a white coat enter in short terms the doctor. She gave us a small gentle smile.

"Do we have the results back?" Lei asked making me look at him. "What is it? what's wrong with my wife?"

"Lei calm down." I told him lightly. 

"We do have them." The doctor said sitting down on her chair and smiled more. "Congratulations." 

I blinked in confusion, sharing a confused look with Lei, before thinking it over and looked down at my stomach. 

"You mean?" I asked muttering laying a hand over it and looked up at Lei. He looked a little shell shocked, placing his hand over mine. 

We glanced at each other, my stomach and then the doctor who nodded gently and then back at each other. There was a lot of looking before smiles appeared on our faces.

A little later in the day we were hanging out at our hang out with Meizuo and Ximen. Ah Si and Shancai were on a double date with Xiaoyou and her boyfriend. We decided not to tell anyone just yet. I was sitting beside Lei, he was a little overbearing since we got the news, he won't let me do anything. 

I couldn't believe it. Anyway, I was working on two new dresses. I was on the sketching part of it. And my art class portfolio was getting finished. I have to submit one once a year, because it takes a while to create the teachers give us till the end of the year.

Lei, Ximen and Meizuo were playing games, Lei kept stealing glances at me. 

"Daoming Si" Shancai came in yelling. I looked up while the boys ignored her, we were so used to this by now." Where is Daoming Si"
