Chapter Two: When the train pulled in at Hogsmeade, I got off as quickly as I could, making sure Louis hadn't escaped my pocket again. I waited on the platform for Oliver and Cedric, who was trailed by Seamus. Oliver took my hand, squeezing it gently. When we got to the carriages we found that Fred and George were waiting for us. Cedric and Seamus slid off by themselves, unnoticed by everyone but me as Ol and I climbed into the carriage. After the short ride to the castle, Oliver jumped down from the carriage first and held out his arms for me to get down. Fred and George seized the opportunity for mischief, as they stood up and simultaneously jumped into Oliver's arms, causing his legs to give way, leaving him sprawled on the floor and the two redhead lying next to him. I couldn't help but giggle at the look on his face. I slowly climbed down, keeping my legs away from the twins so there was no possibility they could trip me over, and then continued to pull Oliver up.

“You two are definitely going to pay for that in training.” he growled.

“Oh, we know -” said Fred.

“But it was definitely worth it.” Finished George.

I put my hand over my mouth to suppress the laughter that was about to escape, causing Oliver to glare at me.

“Ahem.” came a far too familiar voice from behind me.

I turned my head to be met with the ugly mug of Jessica Black. I frowned deeply and turned the rest of my body towards her, preparing for a fight.

“Jessica.” I mumbled, my hand hovering over my pocket.

“Alexis.” she smirked, hands on hips in the usual arrogant way. Oliver reached out, taking my free hand.

“You know, I don't know how you two lasted,” she commented gloatingly. “I mean, we all know Wood is after one thing, and it's certainly not you Diggory. And anyway, someone as attractive as he is.. you'd think he'd find someone far better looking.” She spoke slowly, as to irritate me more.

Sometimes I just had the urge to reach out and slap her.

Hard.

Repeatedly.

But I knew it was better to leave the violence to the quidditch pitch. Oliver let go of my hand and took a step forward.

“Shut your bloody mouth Black, before I shut it for you.” he said harshly.

She whistled lowly. “Big words Wood, shame they're not true.” she pushed one hip out the side, obviously trying to look sexy.

I don't know, personally I think a grindylow could look sexier without even trying. Oliver bit his lip, trying to stay in control as Jess shook her head and did that annoying little giggle and hairflip thing she did that drove me crazy.

“Bye bitch, bye you sexy mother fu- well, you know what.” she said, whilst winking at Oliver.

It was my turn to get mad this time. I ran towards her turned back and jumped, thumping my fists against her head, her back, her shoulders. Anything I could manage to hit. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my left ankle, then before I knew it I was hanging upside down in the air. Looking around I saw a lot of confused faces, and one face that I had hoped I would never see again. That of Severus Snape. I was released from whatever jinx had been used to hold me up, falling to the floor, somehow managing to land without any pain. I quickly stood up, brushing dirt off my skirt. I blushed, realising that my skirt must of fallen down when I was upside down. “Miss Diggory. I'll expect to see you in my office after the feast so I can decide upon an approoopriaaaate punishment for your actions this evening.” he said in that slow, blood-curdling voice.

I opened my mouth to argue.

“If you see a problem with my decision Miss Diggory, I'm sure I'll be able to add another punishment. Is that what you want?” he asked. I shook my head sullenly. “Very well then. What are you all waiting for? An invitation?” he said sarcastically whilst clapping his hands.

Oliver, Fred, George and I made our way into the castle, followed close behind by Jess.
