Matt x Mello

Mello, that name Mello had stuck with Matt since he was little. Him Mello and a few others like Near and Beyond Birthday all grew up at Wammy's House. Wammy's was hell but Mello made it bearable. But that was the past, they are now both on the run from the law. Matt never thought that he would ever see Mello again but he was proven wrong. He first was reunited when he saw Mello on the news as a wanted man. This was not surprising, Matt always knew that would happen, he always told Mello to keep a low profile. Now you might be wondering  how are they reunited if Matt only saw Mello on T.V. Well that was simple, you see Matt isn't inocent either, he's known for his hacking skills, and identity theft and fraud. He was called out of no wear by Mello to help him on the Kira case, and his mission to get his hands on the Death Note. Witch Matt agreed to help with and that's the start of this hell hole. When he first moved in with Mello his old feeling quickly resurfaced after years of hiding them and pushing them down deep within his soul. He never planed on telling Mello  but fate had different plans yet again. On one of the late night chocolate runs with Mello, he finally did what he never thought he would ever be able to do. And that's were they are now. It's currently 12:00am witch wasn't late to them but still they are out looking for a store that was opened and after about 12 minutes of  a complaining Mello they finally found one, a small convenient store. So they went in and took  all the chocolate off the shelves and paid for it and walked out they encountered  a problem. They soon realized  that this was the time were drunk people rome the streets. A drunk woman came up and asked Mello "Are you single, cuz you are hot as hell and if you want i could take you to my hotel." Before Mello could answer Matt kissed him. So here they are, Matt is in the middle of the street and is kissing Mello his long time crush. After the quick kiss Mello was frozen and Matt simply stated " No he's taken" and took Mello's hand and walked off. Once they were back home Matt ran in and locked himself in his room. He started packing his bags, he didn't know how Mello would react but he didn't want to stay and find out. So he was packing his bags, all while doing that he felt a panic attack creep up on him. He just stopped what he was doing and staggered and hit the wall. Once he felt that his back was on the old wall he slid down it till he hit the floor, taking the old white paint that was peeling with him. He then started to cry, and then he started to forget how to breath, he felt like he was suffocating, he want's Mello. Just has he was about to lose it the door to his room flew open. "What the hell Matt what the absolute fuck was that?" Matt was silent tears falling and with the lack of oxygen in his lungs he could't speak. Matt was a mess, he was falling apart right here in front of Mello. "Matt!!" Just then Mello realized what was happening, Matt was having a panic attack. So Mello did what he knew how to do. He got down near Matt, and hugged him, He then pulled Matt into his lap and rubbed small circles on his back. Matt put his head in the crook of Mello's neck. After that Mello pulled Matt back and put one of Matt's hands on his chest "Breath with me, in and out." Matt tried and slowly got his breathing back to normal. After that Mello kissed Matt. Matt kissed back, his hand instantly finding their way to Mello's blond locks. The kiss was soft in the beginning but soon got very heated very quickly. after they both pulled apart do to the need of air tey just looked at each other they didn't need to say  anything, their eyes said it all, all the love and need the both ahd for each other  was their. After that they kissed again. After that they got up and went the the bed in Matt's bedroom and before they evern go they Mello went up and grabbed Matt's hand " stay" was all he said but that 1 word was all Matt needed to hear to know what his decision was, he knew he would stay. Once they were in bed Mello and Matt cuddled with each other. It was silent but a comfortable one till Mello broke the silence. "How long?" "How long what?" Matt responded, but he already knew what the other was referring to. "Matt don't play, you know exactly what I mean." "Fine, it started when we were kids, like 10" That shocked Mello he didn't realize how long his best friend loved him. "Hmm" was all Mello could say after that he kissed Matt on the crown of his head. "Good night Matt" "Good night Mello". Before Matt could go to sleep Mello said the 3 magic words"I love you" "I love you too" And with that they went to bed. They both knew that they loved each other and they needed each other as well. They both slept the best they had on a very very long time. They knew Kira would't rest and neither will they. But with each other they knew they could do the impossible. With Mello's smarts and Matt's tech skills they could do anything. Even get their hands on a Death Note. All they had to do was work together and that's exactly what they did. Time passed and Mello and Matt kinda let go of the whole death note thing to live semi normal lives together .
