The two best friends were in his room, bickering over which Star Wars movie was the best, when they heard the door bell ring. Bored of the argument, and knowing who lay behind the closed door, raced down the stairs with Ramona and Steph, hoping to reach the door first.
Everybody gathered around, ready to meet Steph's new boyfriend. She'd told the whole family it was Hunter Pence—famous MLB player— and now no one could be more excited.
"Look, I just started dating this guy. Everybody, just please act normal." Steph begged, blocking everyone from the door
"But it's Hunter Pence!" Jackson started
"He's our favorite San Francisco Giant." Farrah continued, grinning.
"The man's won two World Series!" They exclaimed together, desperate the meet the man they'd watch together for the longest time
Farrah wasn't even the biggest fan of baseball—she didn't really understand all the rules—but it was something Jackson and her had bonded over throughout the years.
"Just don't embarrass me, okay?" She asked
They all muttered in agreement, silently knowing it probably wouldn't be possible. She, hesitantly, opened the door to let him in and kissed him on the cheek.
Everyone started freaking out, begging him for pictures and any kind of autograph or memorabilia.
"Hunter, I apologize. This is my family not embarrassing me." Steph groaned
"I don't know what all the fuss is about. I'm just a regular guy." Hunter insisted
Farrah and Jackson looked at eachother in disbelief. How could someone so famous put themselves down on the same level as them, "I put on my uniform two legs at a time."
"Don't you mean one leg at a time?" Dj questioned
"No. I stand in my bed and jump right into them." He replied seriously, confusing everyone
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Underpants." Kimmy greeted
"It's Hunter Pence." He corrected
"Really? That's disappointing." Kimmy replied
"Well, sit, sit. It's so nice to have you." Dj said, quickly ushering him to the couch.
"It's so awesome your life time batting average is .284." Ramona said, "Right, Steph?"
"Right" Steph nodded
"I'm delighted to meet all of you guys. And you kids, you're so lucky to have Stephanie as your aunt." Hunter said, before turning to look at Steph, "Did I get that right, Steph?"
"Okay, look I wanted this to go well." Steph confessed, offering a smile to everyone in the room
"Hey, Hunter. I read online that you eat pizza with a fork." Kimmy said
