Farrah's POV

Farrah had been ignoring Jackson all day, until he texted her, asking if she could meet him downstairs. Farrah was hesitant, because she knew Jackson wanted her to forgive him

No one expected Farrah to forgive the boy she's loved her whole life after he almost shattered her entire sense of self confidence in one night.

"Okay, I'm here. What?" Farrah asked, standing in front of him, refusing to maintain eye contact

"Well, before I get started, would you like a beverage?" He asked

"I'm good. Just talk." Farrah sighed, wanting to leave as soon as possible

"I could go for a passion fruit," Ramona started, before she got up from her seat as Jackson glared at her, "You know what? I'll just get it myself."

"Okay, Farrah. I'm really sorry I acted like a jerk at the prom. You don't deserve to be treated that way, and I shouldn't have talked about you like an object." Jackson started

Farrah remained where she was sat, remaining quiet as she waited for him to continue his apology speech.

"You're not an object, and it was disgusting of me to say something like that. I was just trying to impress a bunch of losers, when the only person I really wanted to impress was you." He finished

"Thanks, Jackson." Farrah nodded, quickly standing up from her seat so she could leave

"Well, I mean it." He said, attempting to continue the conversation

"I know you do. And I appreciate it." Farrah repeated, really close to rushing out the door

"I missed you so much." Jackson smiled, coming in for a kiss

"Stop." Farrah coldly laughed, putting her hand on his chest, "What you doing there, J?"

"Uh, badly misreading signals, I guess. I thought you forgave me. Right?" He asked

"Oh, I did...sorta. But after what you did the other night, it's impossible for me to trust you." Farrah admitted

His smile dropped, and sadness quickly took hold over his feature, "Wait, wait. What are you saying?"

"I'm saying, that although I appreciate what you said, you lost my trust completely, and it's going to take time to earn back. Until then, I just want to be friends, if you could could even call it that, because I kind of hate you." Farrah admitted, hurt that it had come to this, but standing by what she said

The fact that he thought she was going to take him back so easily, really irritated Farrah. She was not going to let him talk down on her name, and then take him back the second he gets caught and tries to apologize.

"We're out of passion fruit. Anyone else want a pamplemousse?" Ramona asked, walking back in

She realized the ex-couple were still talking, and quickly left.
