We finally found the time in our busy schedules to make things the way that they were. Carlee and I are finally Mr. & Mrs. Brown. We didn't have a wedding, just us and our children and my mom in front of a judge.
After that we planned a nice family dinner so that everybody else can celebrate with us.
Walking into the closet, I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw Carlee looking at herself in this white dress that she got made for tonight. I talked her into keeping a little bit of the baby weight. She looks so damn good.
I walked behind her and placed my hands on her waist.
She looked at me and smiled. "Hi handsome."
"Hey beautiful. You look amazing in this dress baby."
"Thank you honey."
"I might get you pregnant again."
"That's not happening. Don't even play like that." She nudged me off of her.
"I'm joking baby." I laughed.
"Yeah, I know you are."
"I got my last little princess, I'm good." As soon as I said that we heard Baby gibberish, then Lani came crawling into the closet.
"There's daddy's baby." I went and picked her up while placing kisses on her chubby cheeks. "You look so pretty in your dress."
"I'm upset they're letting her crawl on this floor with it on. I paid a lot for that."
"It's okay baby. She's going to get it dirty anyway."
Finding out that Lani was really mine was the best thing ever and since the day she came home, we've been attached at the hip. Day by day I fall more and more in love with my daughter. Looking at her just takes me back to when Kylee was a baby. I know we're older and everything but I'm not complaining about starting over. All of my kids are blessings.
"So after dinner, we have to go straight to the airport." I told Carlee.
"I'm so ready for this vacation. We haven't been on one in a couple years. I just want to chill on the beach and sip something good then make love to my husband most of the day." Carlee came and kissed my lips.
"Mm, I cant wait for that either."
"Y'all always in here being nasty man." Carter said walking inside.
"You always barging in." Carlee said.
"Y'all can't be in here talking like that around my LaLa."
"How May we help you Carter?" I asked.
"Just wanted to let y'all know that everything was ready outside. We're just waiting on you two."
"Okay we'll be down in a minute."
"Alright, I'm taking Lani."
I nodded and he walked out. I went over to Carlee and kissed her lips. "Let's enjoy ourselves tonight."
"We most definitely will." She kissed me again then grabbed my hand. "Let's go."
