the two stared at each other for a while before he broke the silence.

"it-its been a long time"

soobin's eyes travelled to his hands, a pile of caramel candies. her eyes drifted back to his eyes, which he avoided and stared to the ground. don't tell me that the one giving her the candies all these while was him? anonymously? why? so many things went inside her head and she couldn't comprehend anything. eveything was so confusing.

she closed the distance between them, making haechan nervous. she started beating his arm after putting the things she had on her hands on some shelf.

"you idiot! where have you been all these while?!" she lightly screamed as her eyes were getting watery.

haechan stopped her from beating and stared into her eyes. tears rolled down her cheeks, and she looked to the ground. her sobs were getting louder and she seems to be trembling. oh this is such a nightmare. haechan's weakest point is comforting someone when crying. he knew this day would come but he didn't expect it to be this early.he can't be texting jaehyun to help him. its so awkward.

as he was about to hug her, she brought her head up and wiped her tears. she glared into his eyes and dragged him to the cashier. man. his mother gonna flip if hes gonna pay for her stuff too. but its not that he have a choice.

they sat at one of the seats, keeping quiet. man, this is the first time hes so quiet for more than ten seconds, thought haechan. basically, they were sitting together while doing their own stuff. soobin on her phone while haechan quietly eating his bento. his phone vibrated from his jacket. it was a text from soobin. man, everything's so messed up.

soobin: omg do you know who i just met?!

soobin: that lee haechan dUDE.

donghyuck: wahh finally gfy

soobin: gOOD?? its so awkward!!

soobin: i started crying for no reason gdi

soobin: im embarassed now we are beside each other keeping quiet

donghyuck: why not you talk to him first?

donghyuck: everything happens for a reason

donghyuck: he needs some time to explain everything

soobin: ure right, yeah i shld, thx.

donghyuck: yeah and ure always left. ure welcome.
