"but my name wasn't a lie though. donghyuck is my birth name. everyone calls me haechan because there are 3 donghyucks in our class and people get confused" he continued.

soobin kept silent and listened to donghyuck.she shouldn't have hit him too hard. she feels bad now. and a lil embarrassed. she just texted donghyuck for help which turned out to be haechan.

"but why? you should have just confronted me as haechan ya know. then, i wouldn't have hit you so hard"

"oh yeah? do you think you would do the same after reading a thousand of emotional texts by a girl who you always teased?" he scoffed.

pfft. back with his usual self. he offered her the caramel candies he had on him.

"did you drop it on the floor before giving it to me?" soobin joked.

the two laughed. the cashier was actually taken aback. one moment, they were fighting. another moment, they were laughing. his lonely self couldn't relate to couples. part-time jobs are his reality.

donghyuck then changed his line username back to haechan. everything's clear now.

haechan: bro i met soobin tdy

haechan: everyth is over, i explained everyth to her

haechan: she cried lol i got panic and wanted to text u abt wht shld i do

jaehyun: *facepalms*

jaehyun: everything?

jaehyun: even about taeil?

haechan: do i have to?

haechan: it was his choice to continue chatting with her though not mine

haechan: jinye cant blame it entirely to soobin too

jaehyun: but she DID chat with her privately tho

haechan: they broke up anyway, the past wont come back haunting unless someone decided to talk about it.
