"noonaaaaa i think i like you"

that night, while eunseo was snoring away, soobin was staring at the ceiling. she can't seem to sleep. his words bothered her alot. and the hug from him. for some reason, it felt very warm and comfortable. you can feel his warmth when he hugged her although he only hugged her because he wanted to feel warm. the hug seemed sincere and soobin felt shy when he did that. this was very rare. one time, one junior tried hitting on her by putting a scarf around her neck but she felt nothing.

but no way. soobin prefers older or same age guys. her heart is probably just playing with her. how can it beat faster for a younger guy? haechan would probably forget about the whole thing when he wakes up tomorrow morning. no point overthinking, soobin thought. the next morning when she and eunseo went out for breakfast, they met the boys the lobby. soobin avoided eye contact with haechan which got haechan sad.

"soobin noona!" he called her when he saw her alone at the yard reading her favourite poetry. soobin put down her book but was still looking down, not wanting to look at the boy. why is she so awkward? ugh soobin, its just a hug. a hug from a drunk person. it meant nothi-. "noona about yesterday, i wasn't cold.. i just used being drunk as an excuse" he explained while playing with his fingers. this caught soobin's attention and she looked towards him.

haechan looked towards soobin when he finally caught her attention. he gave a small smile, showing his teeth and scratched his un-itchy hair. he didn't knew what to say afterwards and they only stared at each other for a while until soobin asked why he did that, when haechan confessed that his confession yesterday was sincere. he was just too scared to confess when he was sober. "my mum always told me, im a trouble so could you even fall for a woman like me?" soobin asked, having a woman like me reference in her sentence.

"love is blind you know? at first, you were just a younger, short girl who i would tease until i found out you're 2 years older than me. after the two years past and how we spent time together, i found out i actually.. like you. you don't have to answer anything. i just wanna let it out from my heart. goodbye!" haechan said and ran away after saying what he wanted, leaving soobin dumbfounded.
