"I saw everything. I saw when you snuck into my room and you could smell me so you stayed in there until Lucy caught you, I saw you when you were pregnant with Matty" Matt tells me.
"Can you see the future?" I laugh.
"Actually yes, sometimes" Matt tells me.
"Okay. Well tell me what's going to happen" I say.
"I can't tell you that, Gillian" Matt tells me.
"Please, Matt" I beg him.
"No. I can tell you some things. Watch out for Xavier. He will ruin your relationship. Then, you have the rest of your life ahead of you" Matt says.
"So that's all you'll tell me?" I ask.
"Yes, Gillian. I'm sorry" Matt says.
"I miss you, Matt" I tell him as I start to cry. He wraps his arms around me. I can't hug back though so I stand there like an idiot.
"You'll see me very soon"
"What do you mean?" I ask but he fades away. "Matt" I say but he fades further and further until I can't see him anymore. He probably just wanted to make a dramatic goodbye or maybe I'll see him in my dreams. Maybe he'll show himself when I get home.
I get into the car with everyone else. It's a silent drive home. I don't know if the boys even believe that I can see Matt. Lucy's eyes are red and glossy. She holds Camilla with a tight embrace. Cameron is driving and Nash is next to him. Taylor is next to Lucy and Camilla. Hayes, Logan, Layla, Madison, and I are all squeezed in the back.
I get home as they drop all of us off. "What are we doing this week? Anything?" I ask.
"I'm taking Lucy out tomorrow night and Nash is watching Cami" Cameron says.
"I'm going out with Adrianne the night after Lucy and Cam are going out" Taylor says. I nod and I go inside to my house. The kids run upstairs.
"Matty, no!" I yell to the one year old trying to go up the stairs like her brother and sister. She fails and slides down the stairs. She starts to cry as she's hit her chin on the stair and she's scared. I run over and pick her up. "Are you okay?" I ask her.
"No" she cries.
"Why? What hurts?" I ask.
"My chin!" She yells as she cries. I hold her in my embrace.
"What happened?" Hayes asks.
"She fell down the stairs. Don't worry, it's just her chin. Luckily she's nothing like me" I laugh and he nods as he rolls his eyes.
"Thank god for that otherwise she'd be in the hospital. Like you were every damn week" Hayes laughs.
"That only started happening when I met you. And it stopped once Mason died" I sighed. Hayes comes over and hugs me. I put Madison in her bed and let her sleep. I tell Logan and Layla to keep it down so that Madison falls asleep because she wakes me up twice a night still.
Hayes and I get into our bed. "Would you ever want a fourth kid?" Hayes asks. I look at him and laugh.
"I think three is enough. Why?" I ask.
"It was actually just an excuse" Hayes smiles as he gets over me and leans down to kiss me. I put my hand on his lips.
"Hayes" I laugh at him. "I don't think the kids are even asleep" I say.
"Then you'll have to be quiet, which you suck at" Hayes laughs. He kisses me this time. I wrap my legs around his waist pulling him closer to me. He takes off my shirt leaving me with only underwear on. Sleeping in underwear and a shirt is comfortable. All he has on are boxers though which is easy enough.
"What are you doing?" A little girl asks by the doorway. Hayes jumps off of me and I cover myself with the comforter.
"What are you doing in here, Layla?" I ask.
"The question was, what are you doing in here" Layla says. Sassy.
"I um, mommy, had yogurt and I wanted some so I kissed her and then it went down her shirt so I had to change her" Hayes says slowly. I laugh at him and nod.
"Ew" she says. She walks away and back to her room. I put my shirt back on and cuddle into Hayes.
