"Where are you going?" Hayes asks as he sits on the couch with our three children.

"I was gonna go to the coffee place a few minutes away and then I was going to go to Matt's grave" I tell him. He gets up from the couch and the kids follow behind. Logan and Layla run to me.

"Bye, mommy have fun" Layla says

"Bye, mommy" Logan says.

Matty runs up to me and hugs me. I kiss her cheek and then I stand up from my squatting position. Hayes hugs me in a tight embrace and then pecks my lips. I smile and walk out the door.

I get in my car and drive off to the coffee shop. I park on the side of the road and get out of my car, locking it. I walk in seeing a giant amount of people. I should've known it's early on a Wednesday morning. "Hey" a guy comes up to me. He has a deep voice and brown hair but it's like Hayes's old hair (ha, cuz Hayes got his hair cut) Hayes's hair is in a quiff but not this guys. He has blue eyes and he's somewhat tan.

"Hi" I reply.

"You have beautiful eyes"

"They're blue like yours" I half smile. I don't want a big conversation with the guy behind me in line.

"How long have you been waiting here?" he asks.

"Around 15 minutes" I tell him.

"Sandy!" he shouts. A girl by the cash register looks over to see who was calling her name and the guy, who I don't even know his name or him in general. "Can you get us my usual and- what do you want?" he whispers to me.

"I can wait" I tell him. He squeezes my butt making me jump and look at him again.

"I asked what you wanted" he whispered through his teeth.

"A coolatta" I tell him (they're from Dunkin Donuts) He yells what I want and who I believe is Sandy nods. "And to let you know, you don't touch me"

"Hey, baby, you didn't answer my question" he smiles "What's your name?" he asks.

"Don't call me baby. And it's Gillian" I say.

"Ah, I'm Xavier" he beams. Xavier. Matt told me to watch out for him. "Xavier!" Sandy calls out. Xavier walks up and pulls my wrist. He pays for both of our drinks.

"I didn't ask you to do that" I say.

"Why are you so full of reject?!" He raises his voice.

"Hm, maybe because I have a husband and kids, you touched my butt, and you're being an extensive flirt. You come off as a douche"

"Well that's enjoyable to hear. You sound like a lovely person. I'm actually a pretty pleasant guy" Xavier declares.

"You don't sound like it" I walk off towards my car.

"Hey, how about a date?" Xavier inquires.

"How about I have a husband and kids" I state.

"So?"

"Asshole" I say under my breath. I try and get into my car but he stood in front of the door so I unfortunately couldn't open it.

"I said how about a date?"

"I said no"

"Why not? What if I wrote you a poem, sang you a song?" he questioned.

"I'm happy with my life! I wish you would just go away!" Not everyone can die, Gillian. He's not Mason.

"Fine" he huffs. I open my car door and step inside. I'm on my way to the graveyard in seconds.

"Matt?" I ask. He's not here. "Matt?" I ask again. He said to call for him and he'd be there. "Hey, you said you'd be here if I called for you" I remind him.

"Sorry" he says.

"There you are. Why did it take so long?"

"I can't always just show myself to you, Gillian. We have a connection and that's why we can talk while I'm not physically there. The connection decreases as you forget about me and it gets harder and harder to talk to you"

"I don't forget about you ever" I tell him.

"Sometimes it's amount of grief. You aren't as sad so it's harder for me to talk to you" he tells me. I sigh.

"Well you were right about Xavier"

"I know I was"

"Well Mr. Cocky, what did you mean by when you said you'll see me soon enough?"

"I'm with you right now, right?" he asked.

"I knew you were just making a dramatic goodbye" Matt looks unhappy now.

"Well that's enough for today" he says and slowly disappears.

"Matt" I call out but he's gone.
