Ali Harp didn't like people.

As the least social and straight as a pole twin, she grew tired of crowds fast and would rather spend her nights at home with a good book or movie.

But, of course, James had to get invited to Isabella's party.

Ali didn't see the reason in going, mainly because every human with a brain knew that Isabella was attracted to James, who was attracted to Michael De'Rulo.

She sighed again and opened her texts. No new messages so far.

At around 11 PM, she decided it was time to head home.

She looked around for her twin, seeing him getting hit on by Isabella again, and decided to be nice for a change.

"Hey, James. I'm gonna be heading home. Wanna come?" She asked, giving Isabella a look of spite for hitting on her brother. Isabella clearly didn't care, turning her attention to redhead boy sitting nearby.

James nodded, tugging on his jacket and following Ali out the door.

They walked the streets for about half an hour when a strong hand firmly grabbed Ali around the waist.

Panicking, she swung her elbow backwards, making the person cave inward, allowing her to yank herself free and take off down the sidewalk as fast as she could.

She didn't look back, thinking her attacker was right behind her. All she could focus on was the pounding of her feet on the cement and her brother's screams filling the air.

She stopped by the park, catching her breath.

Then she had a cloth covering her mouth and nose, the rancid smell making her nauseous. Soon, she lost focus, her eyesight going black, all her senses shutting down for good.

She never had the chance to tell her brother goodbye.

Her body was found the next morning, eyes open and shocked, less than a quarter mile away from James.

Saige was furious that they had been found like that. Everyone knew of Harp twins. They were the Kids Next Door, the ones that everyone went to for a hug or someone to talk with. And she hated with a burning passion what this killer was doing to her home.

Klub was her territory and she was going to take it back. One way or another.
