Ever since they got Kaito back, Shuichi had been rather clingy to both Kokichi and Kaito. He would follow them around and hold onto their arms, and whenever they were sitting, he would sit either next to them and pull them close, or sit in their lap, which didn't really work for Kokichi considering he was the shortest of the two.

"Shuichi, you've been rather...clingy," Kaito said, glancing at him as he held onto his arm. Kokichi was hanging out with some people they hardly knew. "A-ah.." the shorter male's face changed to a shade of pink. "Is...Is it because I left?" Kaito muttered, looking at Shuichi. The said male looked down and nodded slowly. "Y-...yeah...th-that's why..." He mumbled. Kaito only sighed quietly. Shuichi went as far as thinking he was mad or upset. "I..ah, can..s-stop..." 

"Haah? You think I'm mad, don't you?" The taller male said, looking to the smaller. He looked up at him and nodded slowly. "Well.." Kaito hugged Shuichi tightly and ruffled his hair, "I would never be mad at you!!" Shuichi giggled and hugged him back, a small, sweet smile coming to his face. Shuichi snuggled closer to Kaito, pushing his arms aside and settling into his lap. The taller male only chuckled softly and pat Shuichi's head.

Suddenly, Sprite hopped onto the couch and crawled into Shuichi's lap. "Hi, Spriteee!!" Shuichi said in a high pitched voice as he pet the fluffy little dog. Kaito studied what Shuichi was doing, and began literally petting him. The shorter boy froze, "H-Huuuuh??" and more surprisingly, he enjoyed it a lot. He leaned into Kaito and smiled as Sprite laid in his lap.  His ahoge wagged, which confused Kaito, but he pushed that aside and continued running his hand through the boy's soft hair. 

Kaito's hand began to hurt, so he stopped to rest for a moment. Shuichi whined, reaching up and moving his hand again, "Haha, you liked that, hm?" The taller male snickered. Shuichi's face instantly flared up. "M-m-m-maybe I-I d-d-did!!" He stuttered, turning away. Kaito smiled and began petting him again.

This went on for about an hour. Kaito's hand was pretty much fully numb, and Sprite was asleep at this point. But Shuichi was having the time of his life. Kaito sighed, "Shuichiii..my hands numb." Shuichi yawned quietly, twisting himself around and placing his face in Kaito's chest. "Mmph...you can stop if you want." He muttered, wrapping his arms around the taller boy. The said male chuckled and finally brought his hand down from Shuichi's head. He wrapped his arms around the shorter male. "I love you, Shuichi." Kaito mumbled, resting his head against the back of the couch. The only response he got was a quiet snore, which he chuckled softly at. He did eventually fall asleep as well, though.

"Hey!! You decide to cuddle without me because I left??" A voice whined. Kaito groaned quietly and opened his eyes to see a pouting Kokixhi in front of him. Shuichi was still asleep, "Well, you weren't here when we decided to cuddle. If you want to join in now, go ahead." Kokichi huffed and sat next to Kaito, wrapping one arm around him and draping the other over Shuichi. "I love you, Kaito-chan..." He muttered, a small blush on his face. Kaito laughed, "Love you too, now sleep." Kokichi oblighed, burying his face in Kaito's side and falling asleep. The taller of the two let a smile slip on his face as he fell asleep.
