The dogs name ended up being Sprite.
The three boys watched movies until it was late. In the morning, Kokichi let Sprite out to go to the bathroom, not realizing she would run away. As he leaned against the house and yawned, he glanced around the yard. "Sp-Sprite?!" He yelled, instantly standing straight and taking another look around. The dog wasn't anywhere to be seen. "OH SHIIIIT!!" Kokichi yelled, running inside. "WAKE UP SPRITE RAN AWAY!!" He screeched, running over to the couch. Shuichi jumped up, "You LOST her?!" He yelled. "How the hell did you loose her?!" Kaito said. Kokichi explained the entire thing, and him and Kaito ended up getting in a fight. And it wasn't a playful one like usual.

It was serious. And it was scaring Shuichi. The said boy backed away from the fighting boys slowly, grabbing his phone and sneaking out of the house. He ran to the pet store and bought a leash and collar quickly, then went on a mission to find Sprite. Kaito and Kokichi were fighting over he lost the dog at first, but then it twisted to topics that hurt all 3 of them: the way they acted in the killing game. Especially Kokichi. The fight ended up getting physical. Shuichi never grabbed a sweater, and since it was only the start of spring, he was rubbing his arms to keep himself warm. Shuichi was in the woods at this point, calling Sprites name. Finally, he found her in a bush. "There you are. Jeez, you scared me!"
He said as he put the collar and leash on the puppy. The mid-height boy heaved a sigh and sat on the ground, holding Sprite in his lap. "I don't wanna go home. Kaito and Kokichi are fighting. And I hate when people fight, it scares me.." Shuichi mumbled, looking down at the dog in his lap.

He sat there for a good 2 hours, talking about things he hadn't told Kaito and Kokichi to the dog. "We should go back.." Shuichi mumbled, lifting his phone. He saw a few messages from the two, and decided on going home. The raven-haired boy placed the dog on the ground and stood up, taking her leash. He took out his phone and realized it was at 5%, "Oh shit." He muttered nervously. He quickly put in the address and began running home with Sprite on the leash. Shuichi's phone was dying, which made him run faster. "I...am not...getting lost...!" He groaned. As he was running, he ran into a certain someone. "Oi, Pooichi! The fuck you doin?!" "Miu! I, ah, got lost searching for my dog." Shuichi said, chuckling nervously. "Reasonable." Miu said, sighing. "I'll take you home, dumbass. Follow me." She led the way back to Shuichi's house. They talked about what their lives were like since they got out of the killing game. Finally, they were in front of the house. "I'm glad I ran into you. Thanks." Shuichi said, smiling to Miu. "No fuckin problem, dude! I'm gonna go get some damn sleep now cus walking is fuckin tiring!" Miu said, laughing and slapping his shoulder. He waved to her as she walked off.

Shuichi sighed before opening the door. Kokichi was curled up on the couch, half asleep. Kaito was no where to be seen, though. "Hey, Kokichi?" The mid-height boy said, leaning over the side of the couch. Kokichi instantly perked up at the sound of Shuichi's voice. "Aaaah, Shuichi-chan!!" He sat up and looked at the said boy with a smile. Shuichi placed Sprite on the couch, which made Kokichi light up
more. "And you found the dog!! Yay!!!" Shuichi suddenly noticed the tear stains on Kokichi's face. "H-hey, what happened? And where even is Kaito?" He asked. Kokichi looked away, "We, uh...had a big fight while you were gone. I have no idea where he went...." The shorter boy mumbled. Shuichi scooted closer to him and hugged him, "We'll find him soon. I'm sure he just needed to blow off some steam, you know how easily he gets upset."

Kokichi chuckled weakly and hugged Shuichi back, "Y-yeah, your right.."
"You know I am."
