My Good Girl

Chapter 2

POV: Maya
*Beep beep beep* my alarm screamed at me to wake up. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Last night I didn't get much done since most of are stuff is still on it's way. I got up and went into my ensuite . Turning the shower on and getting in. As the hot water hit my back my muscles relaxed. Washing my hair and body with vanilla sented sopes.

I got out wrapping the towel around me and going to my closet. Luckly I remembered to bring a first day outfit. I wore a cute white crop top with light wash jeans a red flannel around my waist and all black high top Vans. I curled the bottoms of my hair and did light makeup. I walked down stairs to the kitchen. My dad grabbed the keys and we were off.

We arrived at kingside high. I kissed my dad's cheek goodbye and waved him away. I turned around to face the school and realized a lot of people were looking at me. I walked past people to get to the office. Not before a group of guys dog whistled. I finally found the office and stepped in. I look at the receptionist and was about to great her.

"What do you want, And you better not waste my time." She snapped.

" I'm Maya smith I'm new here? " I said more like a question then a statement.

I looked at her it looked as if gears were turning in her head. Then she gasped. Not going to lie it scared me.

" Oh my I am so sorry dear. It's just the kids here give me so much trouble. Here is your schedule and a map of the school. Have a nice first day honey. "

I nodded my head and walked out. I honestly don't know how she can deal with high schoolers there so annoying. I open my schedule to see I have history first. Great a boring class in the morning that will put me to sleep. I opened the map to see were to go. It just hit me I'm awful at reading maps. I had it in front of me and I was walking down endless hallways when the late bell rang. There was no way I was going to get there in time. I turned around and went towards the office. When I walked right into a wall. This wall caught me from falling. I looked up and I was met with the most intense beautiful eyes ever.

"Watch were you are going nerd."

All the sudden I caught my balance and shrugged his arms off of me.

"What are you a first grader who uses nerd as an insult anymore." I said it before I knew what was coming out of my mouth. I looked up to see his reaction his Greek god like fidgure tensing in anger. I took that as my que to leave. I just realized that he had 2 other hansom guys next to him.

As I squeezed past him to go find my class he grabbed my hand. I looked at it for 5 seconds before looking at him.

"Your new here right." He said a smirk growing on his chistled face. I just nodded my head. His smirk grew wider as he knew he had a affect on me.

"I will see you soon, and I'm Ryder." He let go I pulled my hand to my side. Turned on my heal and went to the office.

"How can I help you sweety." She said with real concern.

" I can't seem to find my first class and I'm awful at reading maps."

She smiled at me and I handed her my schedule she took my map and highlighted where I need to go and where we are now. She has been the most helpful person I've seen here. She also wrote me a pass so I could stop by my locker.

I found my first class about 10 minutes late. I walked in late and the door behind me closed really loud grasping the attention of the class. The teacher stopped his lecture.

"Maya Smith I presume." I nodded my head.

"Find a seat and catch up it's all on the board."

I look around for an empty seat the only one next to Ryan's friend. I quickly shuffle over there and take a seat. I look over at him and he is smileing at me.

"What?" I whisper at him.

"Nothing I'm just sorry for how Ryder acted he shouldn't have been so rude to a pretty girl like you." He said keeping calm

" Thanks." I whisper my cheeks turning slightly pink.

Class was over pretty quick I can't tell if it's because I missed 10 minutes or because of Mark that's Ryder's friend. He's actually pretty cool.

I got to second period on time and sat down in the back of the class. A pretty girl with Chestnut hair and emerald green eyes sits next to me.

"Hi I am Tessa and I was wondering if you would want to sit by me at lunch and maybe be my friend." She says nervously playing with her shirt.

" Yes I would love to I haven't really made any friends and I was so worryed I I would have to sit alone." I start rambling. Her face lights up.

" Let me see your schedule. Maybe we have more classes together." I pull out my schedule and hand it to her. She frowns but  then gets all cheery.

"We have next period and 7th period together." She says exitment  evident in her voice.

I'm sorry for all the errors I do this off of my phone and it doesn't give me all of the misspelled words. This is also about as long as all my other chapters will be because this chapter is is 1001 words long.
