Chapter 4

POV Maya
After me and Ryder's conversation the day went by pretty fast. Now I'm in the last 2 minutes of 7th period.

The bell rings bringing me out of daze. I rush out of the class to my locker. I get out side before the majority of people get outside.

There were big rain clouds above so I started my walk home before it could get that bad. It started to sprinkle and within seconds it was pouring rain. I guess im not use to Oregon's weather yet. Then thunder starts to grumble makeing me me jump a little. My white crop top now soaked showing my black bra off to the world.

BAM lighting hit a couple of feet away from me. I screamed.

"Wow who look someone's afraid of a little lighting and thunder." A male in a Audi R8 says. The tinted window goes down a little more only to reveal Ryder.

Of course it's Ryder of all the people in the world. I turn fully facing him. "What do you want creep?"

Ryder just pauses for a second looking at my now see threw shirt. "I wanted to know if you wanted to come to my party tonight?" He said peeling his eyes from my chest to my eyes.

It didn't suprize me that he was looking there. I must admit I have nice boobs.  The boob fairy was good to me.

"Hello Maya are you coming or not.?" Ryder snapped me out of my thoughts.

I mean I do want to get wasted off my ass. This would also be a perfect opportunity to get wasted.

"Sure where is the party?" I said shivering because the ice cold rain hasn't stopped.

"Hop in I will take you home. and then pick you up and take you to the party at 8."he said placeing a towel on the passenger side.

I wasn't going to say no because I am freezing. I hop in and he drives off. Once we got to my house only getting lost once I hop out and wave.

"8 o'clock not a minute later." He said speeding off into the distance.

I walk in and go upstairs and take a nice hot shower. After I get out and throw random clothes on and head down stairs. Only so see Luke with his hands in his hair looking very stressed out.

"Hey Luke is there anything I can help you with?" I ask trying to calm him down.

Let me pause for a moment and tell you a little more about Luke. He has electric blue eyes and dark black hair. He is also very pale even though we lived in California. To be honest he is quite the lady's man. Although he's a lady's man he's a gentelman to the lady's.

Anyways. I continued my walk to the fridge my home.

"WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO THE CUTE ONES."

I turn my head just in time to see Luke face plant into what I'm assuming is homework.

"Are you okay little man." I say walking up to him and messing up his hair.

" Math its always the cute ones that struggle." He says looking down at his feet.

" You got that right little man. I am adorable." I smirked down at him.

"I said struggle Maya. You don't struggle with anything." Confusion acrossed his face.

" Nope school is hard for everyone not just you."

" That makes me feel better way better about myself." Luke says smileing.

" Whatever."

I walked back to the freezzer and grabbed pizza rolls.

After I was done eating it was almost 4:00. I went upstairs and set and alarm so I could take a nap. Let's just be honest school is draining and something tells me i won't be getting much sleep tonight.
