I'm just here standing and thinking of all I could be with you.
The world is huge but you're the one who makes it feel good.

I was crushed and you picked me up,
I want more and this feels like a knot.

I block out the thoughts pulling me away from you,
Fighting hard to get more and get through,
To your heart so beautiful and true.

I want you but can't have you,
It hurts and stings but I won't stay put.

I imagine us smiling and laughing together,
Writing from the heart, poems and songs; making our bond stronger.

I want you but I can't have you.
Still I ignore the reasons even when true.

I know I'm hurting myself even more but I'll take the risk,
And Maybe someday I'll be satisfied with the part of you I can hold.

I want more but love just as much, every part of you I have got.
I love your words as they sooth my soul.
