He had done a lot of things when he left home. Many he had grown to regret yet despite all of those regrets he had hope. And he clung to the hope.
But that night he decided that hope was for fools.
He was not a fool.
Just a genius with foolish feelings.
"Who did you say this friend of yours was?" he tugged his beanie further down his forehead. Being asked to stand at a corner was stupid. It was stupid and was telling him he would get sick.
"October." Jimin said as he pulled his scarf over his lips. "Ah, there's she is."
Yoongi watched as his friend approached a dark car, he followed and fell into the the back seat as Jimin gestured to the door. "Sorry I'm late, I was at the vet."
"Ah, you have a pet?" Jimin asked.
The car started moving, "no until 30 minutes ago." She giggled. "She was just to cute to leave limping around like that. Appa will just have to get over his phobia." Yoongi watched silently as the girl spoke to his friend, choosing to absorb the warmth of her car he chose to stay silent.
"Ah, Sibi. This is my friend, Yoongi-Hyung. Hyung, this is Sibi-noona."
"Oh, so now you pick up the honorifics. You fool." She said to him and reached to slap Jimin upside the head. They joined gazes after in the rear view mirror.
"Nice to meet you, Yoongi-Oppa." She had a huge smile before returning her attention to the road.
At times he thought that he would never meet people as bright as his friends but there she was. This person who lived like she hadn't a care in the world. Like she had never known darkness, like all the money she was born into had shielded her from all things negative.
As soon as her driving got wilder and tugged on the seat belt. They drove through the city listening to some music until they reached a neighbourhood bordering the Gangnam district. If anything the car seemed out of place right there. Seemingly cheaper than it should have been.
Finally reaching the house they were met with music and those car people he couldn't seem to remember the name of. They left the car and entered the foyer to strip themselves of their larger layers.
He couldn't helf but to feel thankful that he had listened to Jimin for once. Watching everyone parade around formal attire. His wasn't as expensive but he was glad he looked the part. "Ah, Aboeji!" he watched as the girl waved in the air.
Calling over a man, and as he approached he felt the air in his lungs disappear. With a small smile on his face the man stood tall. It was Kang Jihueng. CEO and owner of Legacy Entertainment. A musical genius.
His mouth fell open as he greated them, he could barely speak as they shook hands and looked to Jimin in disbelief.
"Aboeji, this this is the friend I was telling you about. He has written a few of the song I had sent to you, and is a freelancer." Yoongi's eyes fell to the woman speaking to the man.
She had a sweet smile on her face, one like any daughter who adored her father.
"Ah, Agust D. You are someone I've been looking for for a really long time. I hope to be speaking to you in the near future. My dear daughter speaks highly of you." he nodded in agreement before telling himself to let the words out.
"Of corse, sir." he bow just as the man left.
He could finally breathe once the man walked away, and as he did he saw many industry giants in the room. What kind of friends did Jimin have?
He watched as Sibi and Jimin started dancing around, "ah. He listened to them." Sibi said wistfully and hooked her arms through both the men's.
"Did Kang Jihueng call me Agust D?"
