"Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous." he spoke unto his reflection in his bathroom.
Why was his grown self hiding in his bathroom?
It wasn't like he hadn't seen any of it before, this time it was different. Because she didn't belong to herself, she didn't belong to him. But she belonged to another man.
He groans, "an actual fool." He glares it his reflection, his hair was a bit wet. But nothing he would get sick from.
He was pathetic, this woman was living her life in the present and he was here. Unhappy and hiding in a bathroom.
He had to leave at a point, he does so. Opening the door and meeting a sight he wasn't comfortable with. She was on the couch with Bada on her lap, she whispers to the dog.
"Oh, Can I charge my phone? The battery is low, I'll call someone to pick me up." She says so with a smile.
Yoongi agrees, Sibi hands him her phone. He walks into the kitchen and plugs it in right next to the toaster. It reads around 25%.
He chose not to speak on it, she could leave at any moment but was choosing not to. Instead she was bonding with the Alaskan, a dog that never got used to the rain but was at peace in her presence.
"Would you like something to drink?"
"Can I have coffee?" he got on to doing it. By the time he moved away from coffee machine he realised the familiarity of what was going on. This simple task was a reminder of what they used to share.
Evenings like this one, the rain strongly coming down on the city. They would share a cup of coffee, barely conversing but enjoying each others company. And Bada would be at peace and that would have been enough.
But it wasn't, it was awkward. It was quiet, in way that bright restlessness to the both of them. He couldn't switch on the TV because of the weather and using the DVD player might give far too many ideas.
He takes a sip.
Maybe he was over thinking, maybe it was okay to do something to keep them busy. Be could hardly go to sleep given how tense he was.
He runs his tongue over his lips, "who will you call when there's enough power?"
She hums in thought, "I'll see if I can have a driver come. Or I'll call a cab, we'll just have to see."
"Yoongi..." she speaks after some time. "I'm sorry."
He watches her, how she tries to distract her self with Bada as thunder booms. "Its the rain, the forecast said it would be at least an hour later." he shrugs at his empty cup.
He hears her laugh, "Thank you. But that's not what I meant." She clears her throat, and he struggled to keep his eyes downcast.
"The way things ended between us was a mess I had created." he nods in agreement. "I'm sorry about that."
He decides he wants to see her face. "Which part of it?"
"That I wasn't honest with you given the opportunities I was granted," he looks at her body language. She's very uneasy. "Yoongi-ssi, I'm sorry for being so close to you. I'm also sorry for not breaking things off when i learned that I had been arranged with someone."
"When did you find that out?"
