jack pov
"jonah, i dare you to go ask any girl for their number." corbyn dares jonah
"alright, easy enough." jonah said with confidence.
since we were walking around la, it was pretty easy to find a pretty girl to ask for a phone number. soon enough jonah saw the girl he wanted to do it to and did it. jonah came back to us with a smile.
"did she give you her number?" zach asked curiously
"yeah." jonah said with a big smile
"okay jack, truth or dare?" daniel asks me
"dare," i answer bravely
"i dare you to call your crush and tell her you like her." daniel smiles
"i feel bullied." i sigh and pull out my phone.
"ha whoops my phone is dead, guess i can't do it." i say trying to get out of the dare.
"wait don't you like y/n? i have her phone number so you can call her." zach says pulling out his phone.
shit. oh well, i guess i'll just do it.
i took the phone from zach and looked for her contact. soon enough i found it and looked at the boys hesitantly.
"do i have to do?" i ask scared on what her reaction would be.
all the boys nod at me.
without thinking much of it, i pressed the call button waiting for her to answer. the phone rang a couple time and then i heard her beautiful voice.
"hello?" she answered
"hey, this is jack." i say
"oh, hey jack how are you?" she asked me
"i'm doing alright how about you?" i say blushing.
"i'm good." she responds
"so how was your day?" i stall
"it became better since you called." i blushed at her answer
"how was your day?" she asks back
"it was pretty good, the boys and i have been walking around la all day and it's been really fun." i smile
"that's cool. so why did you call me?" she asks curiously
"uh yeah that. well i called to tell you that..... uh i have a crush on you." i blurt out
"oh really? does the famous jack avery seriously have a crush on an ordinary girl like me?" she asks jokingly
"yes y/n i really do." i answer truthfully.
"well, what if i told you that i like you back?"
y/n pov
"well, what if i told you that i like you back?" i say as i look at him still on the phone with me.
they were all stopped in front of a cafe and i was inside the cafe. it was adorable how jack would blush if i said anything.
"wait are you being serious?" jack questions me
"of course jack." i assure him
"well i need to come see you, can i come over?" he asked me excitedly
"no need to jack, come inside the cafe you've been standing in front of the whole time." i say smiling
the windows of the cafe were tinted so none of them could see inside. but i could see how excited jack was when i said that.
i hung up and they all came walking inside the cafe. they looked around the cafe to find me and jack spotted me right away.
"what's up jack? how'd you know i was here?" i sarcastically say and jack smiles
since there was only one seat in front of me, jack sat down in it and looked at me with lust.
"y/n, will you please be my girlfriend?" jack asks me, holding my hands
i took a second to answer but right when i was gonna say something, someone else said something
"y/n if you don't say yes, i will." zach says
"well uhh i stan jackary, but jack's mine. yes jack, i'll be your girlfriend." i say smiling
both jack and i got out of our seats and jack kissed me. soon enough everyone in the cafe was cheering us on.
jack looked at me happily. i've never seen him this happy and i've known him for years.
we peacefully left the cafe and started walking around la, like the boys were doing earlier.
jack held my hand and constantly stopped walking to either hug or kiss me.
"y'know, i've never seen jack this happy y/n, don't break him." daniel says as we stop at a fountain.
"i promise you, i won't." i smile at jack
"and we want you to know that we dared him to tell his crush that he likes her. and since you liked him back he asked you out." jonah explains
"good to know." i say not really caring, as long as jack is mine i don't care.
jack wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him. we both stare at the fountain, enjoying each others company.
"i really like you y/n" jack says facing me. "i mean i really really like you, no i freaking love you so much."
"i love you too jack." i say facing him and putting my hand on his cheek.
"no but i love you to the point where i can't even explain-" i cut him off
"just shut up and kiss me." i say leaning into his lips
