When Chan arrived at school, he felt a certain oddness in the atmosphere... As if something had happened, he shouldn't be a witness of.

As every morning, Chan finished his morning routine quite fast. Also he shaved himself. Really, he should do it more often, else he'd grow a full beard in no time.
But that wasn't the matter. He put on his school's clothing, and also the student council badge, even though basically everyone knew already, that he's the student council president. But it was one of the schools rules: if you don't wear the badge, you're not part of it.
He sighed shortly as he entered the schools building. But... It felt off. It wasn't that normal sleepy, yet talkactive athmosphere in the morning. The students whispered to each other, as if something had happened.
But, Chan was used to being left out on some stuff since he was voted the student council president.. Especially if it could get someone in trouble. So he had to try and figure out himself. Maybe it was a new meme or something?
But for now he shrugged it off. For now it didn't seem to be anything he might be involved in later, but he was sure he'd try to keep track of what was happening today.
It wasn't until the first break, where he overheard some whispering.
"Jeongin" - "Pictures" - "Online" - "Never thought he'd be like this" - "Actually not surprised", were only a few terms (and actually the nicer ones) he heard.
For the rude comments he thought about giving those students a warning, yet if he did, it would be even more difficult to get a finger on things.
But judging from what he heard - of course he couldn't know the whole story, so he also had to follow his intuition - it was initiated by Jeongin.
As he thought of that name, he tilted his head a little. It seemed.. Familiar. Yet he couldn't quite put a face to that name.
Then it was, as if a lit light bulb had appeared above his head.
Yang Jeongin... Wasn't that the boy who once got an award in school, because of some charity event, yet he refused to take the prize himself and gave it to others?
Coming to think of it, the whispering did become a lot weirder to Chan.
Even though he barely saw or noticed the younger around school, he knew that he found him cute that day, with those braces of his, and generous smile. As if there was nothing bad in this world.
For one time, it was as if Chans whole heart was lightening up, only by seeing that smile.
But what the student council president noticed: Jeongin seemed to become a lot more nervous, when their gazes met.
The Australian sighed a little. Now he sure wanted to know what happened, even though he didn't quite know the person involved.

The day went past and soon school was over for most of the students. Chan, however, had to stay. As every day, the student council had to go through a few things. Mostly minor things, as in helping to prepare school events at least a little - it actually was more like checking if everything was legal and not too expensive for the school. Then, the other counsels left, and Chan leaned back in his chair. They'd now check up on the school grounds, and he'd just wait here if anyone would want to talk to him.
Some people might have fallen asleep while waiting, but for Chan 'sleep' wasn't part of his dictionary.
It was about fifteen minutes when the others had left, as it knocked on the door.
The student council president woke from his thoughts.
"Come in~", he said and actually was kinda surprised to see Jeongin actually walking in. Those puffy red eyes made him worried. Obviously the younger had cried.
"Sit down, sit down..", he offered him in a caring tone, before he carefully asked what had happened.
He was alarmed. Now he knew, why it still seemed weird, even after he kind of "knew" what happened.
When Chan noticed the younger sobbing he silently reached to the tissue box in the room, and gave it to him.
He gave Jeongin time, to collect himself, before he listened to him, and what happened and honestly - it was difficult for the Aussie to leave his jaw closed.
As much as he knew about the bad things happening, he never thought there'd be people going this far with their actions.
And damn. He'd be getting them for sure.

"Don't worry. I'll help you the best I can.", he then told him, determined, yet soft.
But where should he actually start?
