When Chan opened his eyes again, he saw white. But it wasn't the usual hospital white. It was warmer. More open for anyone that would arrive at wherever it was. Also the bed, or whatever the Australian was laying on, was waaaaayy fluffier than any hospital bed he laid in so far.
Chan didn't even feel dizzy at all, so he tried to recover what happened. He was walking home, from Jeongin's place. Jeongin seemed to be pretty awkward then, so he didn't want to bother him any longer.
Then he walked acrossed a street, and saw bright lights, suddenly being covered by a shadow - he swore that figure had wings though. The next Chan remembered was, well, now. Himself lying on that super comfy and fluffy thing, which he assumed was a bed.
His thoughts were pondering. Was that winged shadow perhaps an angel? Maybe even a guardian angel? But then again, maybe he was dead, and that angel-like figure was nothing but his mind, trying to trick him into the living. Actually, he wouldn't even be surprised if that was the case.
But then Jeongin carefully shoved his head into the room, smiling when he saw, that Chan was awake and doing quite well. "How are you feeling?", the younger asked while he fully walked into the room. He didn't notice how overly suspicious it was, that Chan was in Jeongin's room after the accident.
Jeongin was lucky that he was only visible to Chan when he stopped that truck - otherwise it would be way more complicated to explain everything. Also he would be in trouble with the high class angels, as they would need to erase the memory of the witnesses.
"Well, I'm okay, I guess. I mean, regarding this situation I'd even say I feel great... Just a little confused but, yeah", he said, answering the question of his junior, while he noticed, that he in fact was in the room of his and not - as he would've expected - in a hospital room.
After a whike if silence Jeongin wanted to ask the older, if he wanted to eat or drink something, but he was cut off by the Australian's voice. "Uhm.. Why am I not in the hospital...?", Chan asked, curious what the answer would be.
"Oh, well, you weren't severely injured or anything and I happened to be there, so I took you to my place, I mean, I don't know where you live so yeah-"
Jeongin obviously sounded awkward, but Chan let it slide - it sounded somewhat plausible. He knew that Jeongin had to hide something, but he also was intelligent enough to not directly ask (I mean, first of all, he did not know Jeongin that well, and second of all he did not want to scare the younger one away from him).
"Uhm, by the way, if you need something just tell me, I'll get it for you.", Jeongin offered then a little bit shyly and Chan nodded as he understood.
Right as the angel was about to leave the room, Chan cleared his throat and raised his voice once again. "Um, Jeongin..?", he asked carefully, and continued when the younger stopped and turned to face him.
"Do you believe in angels?"

Anyhow I also wanted to kinda tell you why the hell I haven't updated for a month-
Cuz, I had a pretty big block, like. Even if I wanted to I couldn't write more than a sentence, even though I made plans on what will happen for them in the future.
Lately I also had a pretty depressive phase, not quite sure if it already ended but yeah
So that also was a point because I didn't feel like doing anything, and I was constantly looking for something to entertain me so I'd stay living in the future.
Okay this got deep quickly-
Just know that I won't harm myself bc I got awesome friends that care for me Esp my soulmate gurl ( I'm not quite sure about her tag so Imma not tag her whoops)
So yeah-
I've planned things for this tho, so this will update at least once a month or smth sksksks
