The rain started drizzling before coming down hard. Direll had left Rhodes Residence and was headed back home.He covered his head with his hood.
The Rhodes siblings were running around the city faster than the eye can see leaving nothing but a trail of lightning. Rohan was up ahead moving so fast he was invisible. The two came to a junction and ran down a stretch. They were both asked to search for an important man who the ministers were expecting the day before yesterday.
Kara's powers suddenly backfired causing her to trip and tumble violently. She fell face down in a puddle of water which was now a pool of her blood. Her flat shoes were completely burned up by the friction of her speed and her formal attire was now soaked in red dye. Rohan stopped and shook his head. He told her to know her limits and that her body won't always keep up. Kara's body twitched from the overuse of her powers.
Rohan called Minister Blanchard and asked about his luck finding the man. Unfortunately there was no luck. Blanchard hanged up then leaped off the Empire State Building before soaring away.
"Where the hell is Kendrick?" Rohan asked himself.
Meanwhile....
Kendrick sat down in the sky looking down on New York.
"This world has buildings that light up and stretch out to the heavens." He said to his slowly approaching brother. "I've worked here for five decades and still don't understand how these mechanical carriages operate."
"They apply the power of horse to it." Kendall replied.
"Like how you intend to apply a power of a god?"
"I don't wish to become god. I wish to make life a heaven." Kendall replied summoning his spear.
"Wow you sound like Thanos."
