13.

It is a difficult thing to trust others when you know next to nothing about them. It is ever more difficult to trust others when you know next to nothing about yourself.

Henry and Archer stayed overnight with Bonnie in her hotel room, making the best they could out of arrangements given the circumstances. With the amount of money Henry has in the duffel bag of his or rather the duffel bag he so happens to have, he could easily book out a couple more rooms, hell he could book out a whole floor for more than a few nights but like everything else he still knows nothing about this money.

It is possible that Henry is in some sort of trouble, trouble that has nothing to do with either Bonnie or Archer so if there is trouble then there is no way he wants them involved, by association however ... well that is another thought best put aside for right now. There may be no choice indeed for if they move on from here then they surely are in it together. Still, until he can know for sure or know anything involving himself or the money then he would rather keep it quiet, so relatively quiet he will be about the money, for now at least.

Anyhow, day two of their joint mystery adventure has come round to begin. Once they ready themselves as best, they can and get the opportunity to feed it is time to go shopping with what Henry says is a limit supply of cash he has available, Archer wants to question this but doesn't.

They, as a trio, had made an attempt the previous day to head out as a unit to hopefully acclimatise Bonnie to being out among people in the great outdoors. It had turned out to be a bad idea so it did not last very long, and they did not get all so far away from the hotel, the same mistake hopefully may not be repeated completely here.

The car Henry has is and has been out in the open, he has taken Bonnie through the town within it so there is no way he can hide the fact that it exists not that he would want to hide its existence as its presence can be quite helpful, especially with Bonnie being Bonnie.

Financially, if they are to go shopping and to survive foodwise for the immediate future then Henry is going to have to declare at least a certain amount of that money he so wants to hide. The other two certainly do not have any money between them, well not any amount worthy of taking note of.

With a few hundred in his possession, a small fraction of the total and the rest still locked in the car boot, Henry states that he can look after new store-bought clothing once no one goes overboard on anything anyway expensive. Bonnie does have clothing in one of her two suitcases but what the hell. This trip might actually aid with what they had attempted to do the day before.

The car ensures Bonnie is kept out of crowded areas during travel time to whatever store they may head to, and a large store is found which continues with the stay away from crowded areas directive.

Having cleaned up earlier and despite not going extravagant on new clothing, all three members of this forgetful group scrub up well, even Bonnie looks more regular than what she had the day before. As for future clothing plans ... well nothing had been properly discussed prior to this shopping venture though enough clothing has been acquired for there to be another change. Laundry services can be used if and when necessary.

Clothing organised would bring the what next question.

It would oddly enough be Bonnie who comes across a possible next course of action. She has been trying on her new clothing for size and had been fearful of coming out of her changing room stall as she could hear voices speaking just outside. The voices she heard were not voices in her head but rather voices in conversation between two women, one of whom was indeed just outside the changing room stalls, the other of whom was within the stall next to the one Bonnie had been in.

With her own business done and a wait being waited out until the immediate area outside her stall could become clear there was nothing for Bonnie to do other than listen in on the conversation as it was taking place.

'What were you thinking?' asks one of the two ladies.

'I had to Maureen' speaks the other. 'I needed to know if it was him.'

'It won't be that simple Jessie.'

'I know but it was worth taking a chance.'

'The police will find him.'

'There may be nothing to find. Anyhow, I was informed that a man had been taken in suffering from memory loss. This could have explained where he has been.'

'If it had of been him then maybe yeah but it wasn't him.'

'I know but I had to go to the hospital and find out for myself ...'

Bonnie has overheard the whole conversation and she could not wait to tell the other two, in fact she doesn't tell them outright, not at first at any rate. When Bonnie reunites with Henry and Archer she simply states, 'we need to get to the hospital' and then begins to make her way to the car without offering any kind of reasoning.

Yeah, Bonnie may appear odd at the best of times though Archer and especially Henry are both getting used to her; at least they had been for this certainly is unusual. There are in this together as a trio for the moment at least so whatever this is, it will soon be found out. Shopping is already complete so once back in the car a journey to the hospital begins. Technology is a great thing; car GPS shows the way to where they apparently need to go.

It takes a little while to get it out of her though Bonnie soon tells of the conversation she had overheard. There is a fourth person who is suffering from memory loss and this person has so happened to become a patient at the hospital. Three people had come together through odd circumstances, they each have no idea as to who they are, they each have no idea how they came to be where it was, they woke, and now they have the knowledge that there is a fourth person in a similar position to them.

On day one, the day prior to this day, Bonnie had had herself a moment, a moment where she said there were eight. Archer too had had himself a moment. Within the building he awoke in there was a room, a room with eight beds. Is it possible that he had been staying in this room with eight beds prior to when he had seen it? Could there a total of eight people, each suffering memory loss? And if there are eight then where are the other four? If answers can come anytime soon then can they come via Bonnie?

This fourth person had been found and introductions are made, as well as they can be made, and for the moment it is decided between the four that Sander should stay where he is for the time being and the other three remain free if this is a word that can be used. They can be free to move forward with anything that may come their way including any possible test results which can come from Sander's stay in hospital.

After the initial meeting, the initial memory group visit Sander received, a middle aged woman dressed in a long while jacket closed over, a black skirt worn to below her knees and gold circular rimmed glasses of which she pushes back up along her nose, with her dark hair tied back in a bun makes a note on a clipboard she has with her as she stands in a rather close position to where Sander lays.

She soon moves away then proceeds to make a phone call for she has a report to deliver.
