My boys and I arrived a bit late to Lily's party to avoid seeing any of Hunter's guys. Right from the moment Lily sent the invite, I knew I would at least have to have some alone time with Scarlett. Even after the act she pulled on all of us today, I couldn't stop thinking about her.
I don't even know the girl, but something about her draws me in and I won't ever forgive myself if I never tried to go after her.
I spotted her standing alone by a group of guys and walked in towards her. She saw me approaching and smiled.
"Hey there beautiful. Wanna dance?" I asked.
"Sure," She said, taking me by surprise.
I grabbed her by the hand and led her to the dance floor. Right when we got there, the song ended and a slow song came on. I held her closer to me than before and started swaying to the beat of the music.
"You look great tonight" I tell her as I lean my head closer to her.
"Thanks" she says while giggling. I guess she's still a little tipsy.
She looks into my eyes as I stare back into her beautiful brown ones. My eyes travel from her eyes to her lips as I lean closer to her. As she's leaning closer to me I can feel her minty breath with a mix of rum. Our lips were centimeters apart from touching when all of a sudden.

I don't know what I was doing but the little bit of alcohol in my system was telling me that it was the right thing to do as I was leaning closer to Sebastian's face.
"COPS. EVERYONE GET OUT" -I heard someone scream.
I started panicking and looking around. Before I knew it someone grabbed me by the hand pulled me hard.
I came face to face with Hunter.
"Come, I'll take you home" Hunter said as he started walking towards his car, still holding my hand.
I ran after him as I couldn't keep up to his fast walking. We got to his Challenger. He opened the door for me to enter in and then closed it. He got inside the car and started it.
"Why did I drink? Who was I tryna impress?" I was saying as I put my hands on my head.
"Hey." Hunter said which caused me to look at him. "You're fine, don't worry about it."
I smiled at him and then looked away.
"Why don't we get you some ice cream so you can cheer up a bit?" He said while grinning ear to ear.
"Aw thanks. I didn't know you were so nice." I said.
"Don't expose my niceness. I'm only nice to you." He said jokingly.
And off we were to get ice cream.
