I watched as the people wearing blue garments scurried off to the East Wing and the people wearing black ran off to the West Wing.

Everyone stared me dead in the eyes.
"What? You can't do that." Hunter said.
"Yeah, you're not allowed to make those decisions!" Sebastian commented.
"Well, she's part of us now." Jade said while cheerfully gesturing for me to join them.
I walked over to Lily and Jade with a big smile on my face. Sebastian and Hunter stood there with confused looks on their faces.
"I'm out of here." Hunter said angrily while storming out.
Sebastian stood there for an extra five seconds then followed suit.
"I'm glad you guys approve of me choosing your side," I said. "I just don't know anything about these gang things and I'm kinda freaked out about all of this."
"I gotta say that no one has ever had the guts to choose us, but I can guarantee you that the reason why they're so mad is because they both wanted you,"
"Wait what?" I asked.
"Oh it's just something we've noticed. But nevermind that, let's go celebrate!" Lily said as she dragged me before I could respond.
Out of all the excitement, I almost forgot school was in session. Yikes, I have been ditching a lot recently.. Whatever.
As we pulled out the parking lot, we all decided to go to a cute 60's diner a couple blocks away. We parked and got out of Jade's car.
As we entered the diner we ordered our food and sat down at one of the booths.
"So how come you guys don't get to choose a side?" I ask.
"Um, that's a story for another day" Jade said nervously.
I decided to ignore the topic even though I was super curious. I guess they'll tell me whenever they want.
As we finished 'celebrating' we decided to head out of the diner.
I saw Zach walking towards the diner. As Lily opened the door, Zach was there, standing frozen in front of her.
Their eyes met instantly, and they kept their gaze on each other for what felt like an hour.
Zach opened his mouth to say something but before he could speak she brushed past him and ran towards Jade's car.
"Uh, bye Zach." Jade and I said as we started walking towards the car.
Zach stood there for a couple seconds, turned his head towards Jade's car as we were pulling out of the driveway.
"Hey Lily, you okay there?" I asked from the backseat.
"I don't wanna talk about it" she said coldly as she stared out the window.
After that, no one in the car said anything. The car ride to my house felt like an eternity and I didn't have the energy to break the awkward silence.
Right when I opened the door to my house, I got up to my room and collapsed on my bed. I knew if I slept I would miss the party so I put on an alarm to wake me up at least two hours before. I fell asleep almost instantly as I put my head on the pillow...
Beep Beep Beep
Ugh. I hate the sound of my alarm clock.
I got up and dragged myself to the shower. After getting out, I dried my hair and got ready for the party. When I checked my phone I saw a text from Anthony asking what I would be ready. I told him to come in thirty minutes and he replied almost instantly.
I wore a tight fit body suit with black ripped jeans. I put on my black vans. I straightened my long dark brown hair and put on a little bit of makeup. I topped it off with some lip gloss and headed towards the stairs.
I received a text from Anthony saying that he's here. I saw a red Mustang GT parked in my driveway.
Why does everyone here have such nice cars? ...
Oh wait, that's right. They're all in a gang.
Anthony got out of the driver's seat and proceeded to open the door for me. I stepped inside the car as he closed the door after me. He then entered the car himself.
"It's not like I don't have arms. That was pretty unnecessary." I said while laughing to myself.
"Hey, it's what a gentleman does." He grinned.
When we got to Lily's house, I was stunned at how enormous it was. Anthony led me to the open front door and we walked in. There were people EVERYWHERE and we had to push our way through to the kitchen despite how much space there was in the house.
"I thought this was a kickback," I yelled out to Anthony.
But when I turned to face him, I realized he wasn't there.
I lost him already?
I had to stand in the kitchen by myself since I knew nobody. To make myself busy I decided to pour myself a drink.
"I didn't expect to see you here, by the drinks" Hunter says as he approaches me.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Well you don't seem like the party type" he says while smirking at me.
"Oh I party hard" I lie, as I chug my cup full of coke and rum. I regret that instantly as it burns my throat.
Hunter looks at me surprised. I am surprised myself. Why did I do that? Who am I trying to impress?
"Well, then. I just wanted to tell you that you look great" He says.
I was about to respond back when I felt a harsh tug on my arm.
"HI! THANK YOU FOR COMING!" Lily exclaimed as she hugged me tightly.
Looks like she's feeling better
"Of course!" I said while hugging her back.
"She's had a little too much to drink, just a warning." Jade said while chuckling.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be right back" I say as I head towards the bathroom.
It took me twenty minutes to find an actual open bathroom. I was already feeling the drinks affecting me.When I came out, I forgot where I left Lily and Jade.
